Admin I metion before how it takes 5 to 6 hrs to updat items from site to wam! That's fine i know it takes tiome and i did it on Sunday! I also metion how i take and break up all the items into categoires like Elec items, Mortor items ect that way there is only like about 1,000 to 1500 items to restore each time i need to edit and it seems that Wam works faster then leaving all 6000+ in one and it will take 10 5 minutes or more to edit it! Well that all worked fine for the last 1 or 2 months and was fast enough for me! Sunday nite i separated the portable elec and backed them up! Then i went to restore the 6000+ and it wouldn't i waited and waited! Tried Monday again and started at noon sat 2 hrs still didn't so i delete Wam completely from my PC and downloaded it again and did your new updates and tried to restore again! Nothing in 2 hrs! So i deleted all the wam again, downloded it again and left the Updates Out! Tried to restore again and in 1 1/2 hrs it worked finally! Then i took and went over the 6000+ and took out the portable elec 1321 of them (as i have them stored now) Then i backed up the remainder of 4600+ and it took over 45 minutes to do that!
Now i'm going to do the Motor Items!
Hope you understand what i wrote as before it worked good! But now way to slow!
Thanks

It is normal for updating inventory to take quite some time, as it is downloading everything (including pictures).
Regarding the other issues... are you referring to the backup and restore functionality from the file menu in WAM? If so, this is something we will need to look into and resolve.
One question. I am assuming you are deleting the existing items in WAM, then attempting backup from your files. Are you using the "compact database" feature before trying to restore the other auctions? If not, the database will act like it is the same size, and just make it even bigger.
We are still looking into options to resolve large inventory sellers and the slow loading associated with this.

Using the backup and restore on wam!
As for compact we tried that! We tried it as a brand new download of WAM program! We tried going into C program and make a new Data File like you showed us before!
Like i said it worked great before for 1 or 2 months!
Thanks

This info has been passed on to our programmers, so hopefully we can start getting this fixed soon for larger inventory sellers. It would be nice to get it to the point where you do not have to backup and restore all the time.

That would be great! As of now if i try anything over 2500 even 2000 items it take forever! The more items the longer it takes to edit or update a ad!
