How long does media mail take?

Does anyone know? I won some movies off a seller. THey said they ship media mail with tracking. I didnt get a tracking # and Im still waiting for an answer from them. How long of a wait is long enough to start worrying?

Hi Sports cards..I have sold many MANY books, movies, and etc., media mail
tends to be (NOT always) quite slow. Plan on 10-to-14 days.(possibly)

Shipping Media Mail the Post Office says here 2 to 8 weeks!
A person should never ship via Media as it is to easy to get lost! These Media items are just thrown off to the side and when they have room they throw them on a load! Who knows where! It might go to CA first and suppose to go to NY!

Well, my wife works for the Post office and i have shipped 1000's of items by way of media mail.
Media mail is the last mail to ship out of a Post office, normal delivery time is a stated 2 to 9 days,but i have known of it taking 2 weeks. Alot of the delivery time depends on how busy that post office is where the package was mailed.
If the seller got a tracking number, it should be no problem for them to provide it.

I've had it take 4 or 5 days during the summer and over a month during Christmas time. Very late for Christmas it was.

I guess I've had good luck overall with Media Mail. I had one item take 15 days to get from MO to Puerto Rico. As a buyer/seller I've never had one lost. On this booktrading site I do, I've had one that never made it to the person and several that I never rec'd. That's assumming they really mailed the books!
