Hi,

I was wondering how much exposure the Home Page Featured option gives you?. How many times a day will your item show up on the front page?.

Also the http://www.webidz.com/site_fees.php page lists the cost as .07, the actual cost is .08

Good to see you again, as for the homepage featured option, I believe those are randomly rotated. I do know that I have seen some of my items up there, although I do have many with that feature selected.

As far as your second question, I don't have an answer, Admin will have to address that one.

I am not too concerned about the .07 vs .08 I just wanted to bring it to the attention of the site ops.

Ok, I will answer my own question.

Currently there are approximately 8700 Featured items on WeBidz. I am assume each item is weighted the same.
The front page lists 5 Featured items per visit. If you have one featured item then it would be seen once every 1740(on average) visits to the front page. If you had 7 featured items then one would be seen every 248 (on average) frontpage hits.

I will check into the fee display issue, and make neccessary changes. You are correct in assuming that each featured item is weighted the same. I could not even guess the amount of times each item would be displayed, as we do not track this.
