Isnt this kinda illegal?

I got the strangest call today. A guy is looking to start a site called [edit]* * *ville Jr. He wants me to join his staff since I knew more about the bulkloader then the new owners did LOL. Now my question is this, isnt using the name [edit]* * *ville illegal unless he buy the rights to it?

No it wouldn't be because he has JR on it!
But i got a letter to about this site!! They must be going down the list of Bidville users as we were there quit a few yrs! Might be a scam! Were leaving it alone!
In fact with all our stores we are cutting out all auction sites too except Webidz will be our only one by the 1st of the year or sooner!

Well either way Im not getting involved with that site. I know the guy who is starting it. While Ive have no personal issues with him, Ive heard alot of bad stuff. Iplan on staying here for a while

My only question is how did he get my new # LOL. its ounlisted and its not even in MY name (in the wifes and he doesnt know her). I wonder if bidville or somewhere is selling off users info.

I probablly put my info in at anther auction site. I know it wasnt here. And as for taking his offer (seriously or not) I have alot on my plate already. Between being a mod at a card site, listing and selling here and building my 3 sites, I dont have time to torment the wife (but I make time to do that anyway LOL).

to where I give MOST of my interest right here, as I do NOT have the time..Like

I don't know but since Bidvilee closed we seem to be getting more and more junk mail and more weird sales or solution calls at our UNLISTED # ! I won't dought it one bit! The sites i was on is the only ones that have our unlisted #

I think using that name would not be illegal, but the owners of the original site would be able to file suit and win. This would actually be a cut and dried case, as it is definitely a case of trademark infringement.

Regarding getting calls from them... I want everyone to rest assured that we do not give out or sell any user info. We never have and we never will.

Well I know the guy. He really isnt in it for the money, he just loved the site till he was basiclly driven off there.

LOL, as I tell my doc, everyone in the world is nuts, its just I dont like to hide it :D I still remmeber when she asked me if i knew what depression was. I said it was anger without enthusiam. It was priceless LOL
