rabbit first drop him off. go get the cabbage, drop it off. ..take rabbit with you back accross. drop him off. get the fox take him accross. go back and get rabbit. now you have all of them accoss the river.

ANOTHER way I thought (all on the same side)
1)Take the fox first (leave'im)
2) take the cabbage (he ain't agonna eat CABBAGE)
3) bring the bunny with you last (and protect 'is hide)! :D

that would not work the rabbit would eat the cabbage when you take the fox over.:D

I was gonna say, put the cabbage in his shirt to take over at the same time as the fox. Wouldn't take up any room in the canoe if he put the cabbage inside his shirt, then the fox and the rabbit would not be left on one side together while taking the cabbage lol.
