Buying on Webidz

Hi, folks, I'm new to WeBidz. I am an e-bay volunteer drop-out. I've been very successful on e-bay in a very niche market; aviation collectables and scale model cars and airplanes. I have listed 23 items in the last two days. I know this is supposed to be an alternative site, and I think I've acclamated to the nuances that differ from e-bay and Ink frog, but I can't find anybody buying anything. Are there any buyers out there? I hope someone can tell me, I'm missing something. So, before I try to launch another 'gaggle' of items, I'd like to see where the 'action' is, if any. HELP?

We are not as big as E**y (yet) but we are growing and the volume of sales should rise as we grow:)

To see what is currently selling - click Auctions Home and look in the Popular Auctions section to see items that currently have bids. Then over to the right is a list of recently sold items.

If you have anymore questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I've only been a member since Feb so if I don't know the answer, I can find somebody that does:)

HI! If you look at Ebay now and read the thread above Feedback Extortion at eBay... that Ebay is loaded with non payers! Getting worse everyday! We were at Ebay the first year they started up till about 5 or 6 yrs ago and got tired of there rate raising and stupid rules they had! But i know from experiance the bay had alot of nonpayers the first few years were the worst but still had them up to the time we left! There out there on any site! Sure ebay gets rid of them but it takes 3 strikes to suspend them! You were lucky not getting any non payers! That was good for you! But with the ecomony the way it is it is only going to get worse on any site! We have sales here! If you look at the Home page it shows on the right recent sales! Then in the middle it shows some auctions with bids!

Not to change the subject but didn't you say you had a hard drive go out of your other pc a while back? What kind was it? Mine went out yesterday and i lost everything but back up 3/4 way anyway

Back where I was to start MrJ..I am #10..it is as high as you can go!! :D

Just a real good ole time vittles cook..cooked the hard way..(mostly
fresh and from scratch).


It was a DELL..XP..(OS)..man..mine just went BLACK..no warning just
POOF!! :( (it had been perfect and maybe a little slower before that
happened).

Sorry Bama..It just didn't look so good IMHO, where we welcome our
new members and guest in the boards..That is one of my lil jobs..:)

I have been looking both at the homepage and the auctions. Im not see much activity at all. Just new sellers I am going to wait awhile. Webidz could be a great site but we all need to market it to friends family and prospective buyers. Yes its growing but not by leaps and bounds.

I've had some sales and there are others here who are having sales too. Just because you don't see bids doesn't mean there aren't sales. I sell by BIN only, so you won't see bids on mine or many other sellers.

As to not wanting to list until you "know" - what's the point then? The bulk lister here is great. If shoppers only see a few items available, they will pass you by. The more variety you offer, with nice listings, clear descriptions, yada, yada...the better chance you have of sales.

And by the way...what do YOU do to promote your sales? ;)
