How to make a sale

Hi I am new to your website and I am having a hard time having customers looking at my stuff let alone making a bid...I have always used Ebay but they are charging so much now it is not even funny.
I have a Die Cast Collectable 68 Mustang GT car, A Autographed Football and a pair of shackles ....I am not even getting a bight is there something I am doing wrong...I could use your advise...Thanks Brian

Hi Brian,
First, welcome to WeBidz.
If you have customers from Ebay, contact them (via personal email) and invite them to buy from you here. We don't want you to advertise WeBidz through Ebay in any way, especially if you still have listings there. We don't want to get our members in trouble on other sites.
You have to remember that WeBidz is way smaller than Ebay, we would like to invite you to help the site grow though, do some advertising, sending out emails, putting your store (if you opened one here) into the search engines, and (if you opened a store here) put a banner in your signature so that when guests come and visit the forums here, they can click on your banner and see what you have to offer.
I know I know, people say, well we didn't have to do our own advertising on Ebay. That's because everyone has to pay the rediculous fees so that Ebay can have the advertising budget.
I think most of the sellers here would rather do some advertising on their own, and keep the site fees down so that we can pass that on to the buyers.
It really doesn't take that long to do the adverts on your own and you can target the buyers that you specifically want to market to.
