is 153 on the auctions home page! Since I joined in July thats the most I've seen. Awesome! The word is getting out about Webidz. Keep referring people! Does anyone know the highest number of users online since site was developed? Just curious.

Just like the stock market, the online users is constantly fluctuating, but over time it is usually always on the rise. We do not monitor the online users, but rather the amount of unique users per day. Right now it is about 4,000 uniques per day, which is lower than our highs that are usually achieved September to February. This time last year we were around 2,000... So we are about 100% up from this time last year. Peak season last year was around 6,000. Using this current seasonal trend, we should peak this year at around 12,000.

I don't see that happening... But it would be cool if their was an offer, then I could tell them where they can put their check.

Most dealings we have had with eBay since inception of WeBidz has been not very diplomatic. In 05 we had correspondence with a few eBay employees, and they claimed that they would get us shut down, as they had connections in every aspect of online business... and we didn't have enough money to mess with them. They also had paid campaigns with Google for our name and variances, trying to divert traffic from us. But recently Google got sued by someone else for this type of activity, and soon after eBay's ads were gone. So Google must have changed their policies.

There have been other issues with eBay, but I don't want to get into writing a book. We document and save any info collected, regarding interractions with them... just in case we need it down the road. I think they try this intimidation tactic with many, but move on when it does not work. It has been at least a year and a half since any contact with them.

You know me better than that John. For one, I have business ethics that would not allow something like that to happen... and two, I can't stand them.

I just posted about my problems (on the Selling forum) with Paypal with-holding confirmed shipping address's for WeBidz sales! Just more of their bully-tactics!
