If you have a suggestion for a question and answer to be posted in this forum, please post this here. We will not guarantee that your suggestion will be implemented, but we will look into all requests.
If there is a Q&A thread that is outdated or not correct, please report this here so we can look into and make necessary changes.

Admin, Hi..I would just like to suggest that we list the repatoo banner 'how tos'
and the store banner 'how tos'..There is many many other questions and ideas,
but this is just a start. I believe these two banners strongly increase the possibility
of sales for brand new sellers.

Thanks for the suggestions. I got up a repatoo/feedback Q&A... I was looking for a current thread for the signature, but could not find. Offhand do you know where this is at? I can write something new, but thought it would be easier to just copy/paste.

I am not sure what point auction numbers are assigned, but I know the auction manager does not assign these numbers. So this would have to be retrieved after or during upload. I will check into this, but not making any promises on how quick we can implement.

ADMIN! When i sell more then one of the same item to the same customer the invoice sent out only shows shipping cost for one item not like 4!
I jsu lost $74.85 in shipping because of that! Well little less as i would have gave a discount but not $74.85 worth:(

For multiple item purchases, there would not be a combined invoice until this is created by the seller. Direct pay should by default include the total product price and shipping for each. It sounds like your seller modified the shipping to only pay for one.

It should just remove the proxy bids that would have been used in correlation with the buyers bid you are cancelling.

Another Question Admin! When a item sells! Does a invoice go out automatic? Or just when we sell it?
Currently there is not an automatic invoice, only the "you have won an item" email. Which if you have direct pay set up, a buyer can pay immediately from the site. We are looking into a auto invoice option for the new platform, which would combine and provide discounts if applicable.

I was the seller but it only showed shipping for one instead of 4 and the Paypal one did too!
I didn't modify anything as i figured it showed 4 x Shipping!

2 auctions i took and retracted the bid on one person and it took the other bidders off too! It did the same thing a few months ago too and i reported it and i thought maybe it was fixed but guess not!

I have a $1.50 handling charge on some items (Packaging) and would like to be able to add that somewhere on the invoice. Don't want to add it to the auction price itself. Thanks.

Please go to the bottom of the page and click on contact us! Do a ticket up on this! Also if you paid by Paypal, Go to paypal account and file a dispute against this seller!
Putting the seller info in public like this could lead to legal action so it's best to do a ticket

We all add handling to the shipping cost! That's why you allways here places sau SHIPPING & HANDLING then one price

MrJ is correct..File a report and also file with pay/pal and (or)
your charge card company. We have little patience here with
sellers that hurt others with dishonest practices as they hurt
all of us.

You can't blame all selers just because there is one rotten egg seller! Just like blamming all buyers because of one rotten egg! Right! Admin is very strick on bad sellers and bad buyers! The thing is that it is real hard to put the blame on a auction site because of something like this! How does admin know if it works or not what sellers are selling? Do they have to go to each sellers place and see for them selfs to see if it works before a seller can sell it? There isn't one aution site out there that can be held reliable for what the seller says in there adds! If you look at a item here or on other sites at the bottom of the item it says somehting like this! ( Seller is fully responsible for the contents) Something like that anyway!
He offered for you to return it! What else can he do? If you file a claim at Paypal or C-card company and they go in your favor there going to make you return it to the seller anyway before you get your money! Send it back to the seller and Insure it and get a Tracking# then you have all the proof you need

I have looked up your ticket and found that we have been working with you and the seller on resolving this issue. The seller informed you that they would refund when the product was returned, which is standard methodology in buying/selling online, or offline for that matter. We informed you that we cannot and will not force a seller to refund before a product is returned... and we have no control over return policies of sellers. So in this post you have skewed our response to sound like you have not been provided any assistance... which is not correct.
Items get damaged in the shipping process all the time, and we will not take disciplinary action against members for this. If a seller fails to deal with an issue, this is another story that would be handled on a case by case basis.
Whenever you are paying for an item online, we always recommend paying with a credit card through an authorized gateway (if you are not familiar with the seller, or they have limited feedback). This way you have the chargeback process available to you, in the event the transaction falls through. What method did you use for payment? Our recommendation would be to return the item to the seller, then give them adequate time to refund. We also recommend shipping with a return receipt, so you have proof of return if needed for a chargeback. You will also want to contact your cc provider, to find out the timeframe for filing a chargeback, and ensure you do not let this timeframe lapse.
Please also update the current ticket, with any additional information you feel we should have.

New Question: Vacation settings
Is there anyway to add a vacation alert or pop-up type thing on all my listings? I know I can add an alert to my store home page, under my logo, but shoppers may only look at the individual listing and not look on my store home page.
Or, maybe, some way to "hide" my listings for a limited time period?

We do not have a vacation option at this time. What I would recommend you do is set up an auto responde for your email, so if any of your customers contact you, they will get an auto response that you are out of town until... You can also post these details on your store header section.

Hi and welcome to WeBidz, I am glad that you asked this question as I could not remember the answer. So I did a search and this is what I found. I believe it is one of the inventory, but to be sure, I would also state that in the description.

The buy out feature is per each item in the Dutch auction......I have 10 widgets set at 5.00 each......or I have 10 sets of 5 widgets in the set at 5.00 each set.

If you have ten widgets, you would create a listing for one widget, then list a quantity of 10 in the quantity section. If your ad(description) says 10 widgets, that is what you would need to give to each buyer.
