Shipping charges?

If Im not mistaken, we cannot charge shipping prices when we sell for webidz points right? I mentioned this to a seller who looks to be charge shipping in his/hers auctions. Here is a link to one...

You are correct in the points only auctions. If you look at this sellers cats at the top of that link page, I think she mistakenly placed it in the points only cat as a secondary cat.

The listing itself does not even show the point conversion, look at the one I have that you bid on and you will see what I mean.

She has placed several like this, and I meant to tell her and admin about it, she is a good seller and does great work. But she has to get this fixed.

Thanks guys! Gosh , Lana I sure hope I didn't make a mistake and list one wrong. I don't think so , but you know me, I could have. Anyway, in checking the item's in your listing's, I wanted to know if you list Letter size, flat plain, mailing envelopes? Initially I was unaware as to how the auctions worked and added the Webex Auction Pay to my regular auctions, however I have been editing them now and separating them from my regular auctions.
Also I had the description shipping charges preset in all my auctions, but toWebex purchases they wouldnt apply. I might have missed this one when I was fixing the others..It was a late night and I may have skipped it, I am going to check it now to see if I had fixed it or I will fix it.. Hey Tom.. yes I do sell them..of course they are a bit WIDER
than the envelope, but I use a LOT of that size. I think they are
a size #2..but will check to make sure. Will make you a package
deal if you buy a lot.

Tom did you check that health drink I made up? I THINK it is helping

Apparently I made a ton of mistakes on all of my auctions, not understanding how to list them correctly.When I wanted to join in on the Webx point auctions I initially just checked them on the listings along with the other boxes. Also several months ago I applied for Revolutionary Money, Google & Moneybookers and have accounts with them but never figured out how to use them so I dont even know if they are active or whatever, but since some of these auctions were relisted many times, the error carried through and I missed them as well.

I duplicated the ones I wanted as Webex Points and separated them removing all options except Webex and the made the duplicate listing leaving Webex out and just keeping my Paypal with check money order & visa Mastercard options as Paypal can accept Visa and Mastercard but I wonder now if that is wrong option or not.My categories got mixed up to as some were initially in place when listing and I missed them and they fell into the .99 category , which was okay when there were .99 sales but since the sale ended in July I needed to change those categories too.

On Bamadog's bid on Poppies, I would just rather send you the card and close that auction as I couldnt re-edit it once the bid was placed, however I tried to put an explanation and assurance that shipping wont be charged.

BTW I thought the only Webex without shipping were ones like I bought from Lana a few months ago, a digital recipe that was a pdf by email so I didnt even realize s&H were an issue, just assumed it all was with points.

Since I have now edited all of them, I try to make most uniform and hope when I got back into cut and pasting that I did it right this time.I am extremely busy with over 25 sites and the ones with this auction format were the ones I was mixed up on.After I was done here I went and found other errors on a couple of other sites that I began to fix as well. the Webex Points thing thru me through a loop though as I thought the other sites had them too and then had to be sure none of the cut and pastes shipping discounts I give ended up on any of them, lol.. I am sorry for botching it all up .I didnt even notice that I had an ebay button on here which I removed from all of the auctions, although I dont think it would have harmed anything as my prices are uniform. I didnt think it an issue either as I see ebay ads all across the top of this website as well as plunderhere and hi bidder etc.It was through those type of banner ads that i joined this site in the first place.

When I came back on tonight I browsed a while before logging in and see how hard it is for all the sellers here as the sales are so very low, but even on ebay they are 'down' although I do sell 1 out of 3 of my auctions there and have only sold I think 5 here in the last several months.I am sure it will pick up though as more people join here and more online shoppers migrate here.

I dont keep an ebay store anyway so having my store suspended here is no big deal since I screwed up and that is my responsibility. I have made some new WEbex Point auctions to try and make ammends for my errors.

I also give free gifts with every auction anyway even if they dont say it.I have been selling online for about a year now and all my feedback is 100% so when I actually do get a winning bidder they are happy with what I send them.

I hope this misunderstanding doesnt turn everyone off to me or my store, I may be a bit lame online still but these were honest mistakes.I am trying to build a business with my art after being away from it for many years due to my disabilities but as I have been regaining use of my hand over the last couple of years I have been creating new art work almost daily and havent even ever been able to list everything yet. it always takes me a couple of hours to make a listing as my computer freezes and restarts frequently and I keep losing things or my place where I am at and start over alot.I also forget alot which is why I started to cut and paste more and more.

Well I hope everyone has success here and that profits increase for all of us.

Mornin AVE, when I do a points only auction, I create it from the site instead of wam, I only list it as an auction and not in my store, and remove everything except the Webex logo. I put it in only the WeBex catagory so as not to be confusing to anyone.

I figured you probly made a mistake with this as you are, for the most part, an active member, but this did need to get fixed. If someone had bid on all these, you would have to let them go for webex points only, no cash comming to you at all not even for shipping.

Bam, you will like her art, I bought one and she does send extras.

Ave, the best way I can think of not to have this happen is to not have webex points as a preset option. That button will not show when you create a listing. Then if you do want to do a webex points listing, simply uncheck all the other payment options, check the webex one, and place it in only the webex points catagory.

I also put a "disclaimer" on my webex listings that say in the description itself, that this is a webex points only listing. No cash will be exchanged not even for shipping.

much appreciate your compliance on the WeBex auctions (NO shipping charge).
TODAY.
The other auctions with outside linking to be removed ASAP.BTW, Etsy IS a
auction house and you never EVER ANY-WHERE link to one site from another.
