A great Thanksgiving was had by all here! My hubby took the boys to both sides of the family and I took a long needed nap from working the night before.

They came home with a care package for me and let me tell ya, Mmmmmmmm Gooooood! I ate every bite!

Now the big rush is on for the Holidays! How many of you went shopping today? Not me, LOL. As soon as the caregiver comes this am, I am off for another long winter's nap. I am in the middle of a five-night stretch so I have to get my Z's when I can cause the boys are out of school.

thanksgiving was awesome, first one we've been able to enjoy with the family after way too many years and boy did i stuff myself lol....
and today, no shopping really, instead i made a big batch of christmas cookies, from a recipe used by great grandmother, mark helped me by decorating them...of course they are disappearing fast, we made up two separate containers for our new neighbors, just hoping they'll last long enough to get to them. tomorrow i plan on making up some banana nut bread to pass their way too.
i love to cook and bake and now that we're finally in our own home once again after not having one for a year, i'm really enjoying myself, just gots to get used to the oven, since i haven't had one for that year..lol..but it's all comin back to me.
