I am in need of something... she should be about 5'5ish, between the ages of 40-45, long red hair.. and.... nevermind, cheryl wont let me keep her anyway LOL


Seriously I need a used scanner for my computer. The one I have now works, but the lid is missing :( Anyone have one?

Will it work by putting a heavy weight white towel or something over your object.. I am trying
to picture it, Butch.. I am on my (only) second scanner. I assume the glass 'surface' plate is still
there, correct? I bought one scanner at 'that place' for like 29.00..and shipping, used it for
a long time and it was no longer compatible (to my NEW pc..(it still worked).

Reason I ask like that is..if I have a large object, I remove the cover anyway..:rolleyes:

yeah it still works great but it attracts every piece of dust and little pieces of dirt (where they come from I dunno LOL), and its a pain LOL. I taped together some printer paper and it seems to work, but one day Id like to get a new one (this one is like 5 years old)

I understand Butch..best one I ever had was just a old cheap flat bed
I LOVED that thing..used it for like 8 years and it still worked great..But of
course the 'powers that be' made it non compliant to my sporty NEW unit!:D

New one cost lots more and no where near the features! shishhhh! :(

What kind so you use? Right now I have a Canon Cano-Scan Lide 50 I got from walmart for $29. If you can ever afford it, Id say get one. by far the best scanner ive used. Nice clean pics (unless theres no lid LOL).

I have 2 newones just siting here. BUT they are for older systems. like NOT xp..

I bought them thinking they would be compatable. but they are not. AND they are out of warenty!!!!!!!!!

but NEW.
