WeBidz recently introduced a detailed copyright infringement policy, due to recent pressure from a few manufacturers. This policy is new and will most likely need changes as we start getting feedback, and discover methods of abuse.
We know there are going to be questions and complaints about this policy, and we are open to these questions and criticism.
We had many concerns for the development of this policy, some of the major focal points I detailed below...
*Keeping any future lawsuits from copyright holders at a minimum.
*Preventing abuse from competitor related reports.
*Protecting legitimate sellers.
*Building credibility with the online community, regarding the authenticity of the items listed.
