Mix up your fav cornbred batter, add one single serving can cream of corn, 2 if you are making a big batch of cornbread.
Brown ground beef or tukey or sausge, whatever you like. add onions, salt and pepper and chilies if desired. Cook until onions are soft.
Pour half cornbread batter into your pan. Pour meat mixture in, add shredded cheese (this can also be added into cornbread batter if desired) pour rest of cornbread batter onto mixture and bake as normal.
This is so good! All you need is a vegi or peas or beans and a salad if desired and you have a great meal with little fuss.
Enjoy!!
Debbie :)

I have even made it with a can of red beans to add even more protein ...
(cost even less per serving)
This would be good for New Years too! :D

Thanks for the recipe. I'm having 7 additional people in the house for 2 weeks, so I'm looking for new, yummy foods that feed a crew. :) If anybody else has any tried and true recipes that don't take a lot of work or a lot of time and feed a lot of people (I don't ask for much...LOL), please post.
