Hi WFRY, Our Admin will be in here shortly to help. Did you authorize the direct buy in your seller
choices. That way the (honest) buyer can pay immediately. We do not have, at this time, a feature
that REQUIRES immediate payment in place , but perhaps in the future. I have not had any problem with non-
paying bidders here, but I do know that our staff takes a very dim view of buyers who are NPB.
Like I said, he will be able to help you much more.

Realistically I do not see such an option coming any time soon. I would like to see other limitations for blocking accounts that do not meet specific criteria... Like no feedback, non paying bidder strike, feedback percentage, etc. There are quite a few variables that could help reduce the amount of such transactions. We have quite a few other things on the table right now, but this is something that we are going to be looking into.
About 20% of our non paying bidder reports are the result of the buyer not knowing how to proceed and giving up. There a couple easy fixes that would resolve most of these 20%... 1) Invoice buyers within 48 hours of purchase, detailing them how to proceed. 2) Set up paypal or google direct pay, so buyers see a "pay now" button on their items won page. I have placed links below to pages that describe how to set these up.
Google Direct Pay Instructions:

Paypal Direct Pay Instructions:

Please keep in mind that just because you have direct pay set up, does not mean that all buyers will know how to proceed. You may still need to initiate contact with your buyer.
If you have contacted your buyer and they have not responded or paid, please contact us through the auction site contact page. Give us the details of the transaction, including auction number and the buyers username. As Lana has said, we do not take non paying bidder issues lightly. Over the last year we have been able to significantly reduce the amount of these, through various methods of detection and blocking. And of course, members reporting to us helps out greatly.

I started to set up paypals notification settings and stopped. I need to know that this setting in paypal will not interfere with any purchases from sites other than this one.
Thanks

Mornin Jackson,
I asked the same thing a few months ago......Admin assures us that it will not affect the buyers with other sites.
There is a discussion on it and I will do my best to find it and come back and post the link here.
I knew I had seen the discussion somewhere and here it is..........
