This is the first launch of a listing here on WeBidz so is this listing OK.
I used one of my eBay templates from Auctiva.
Here is the auction number 1403946 or LINKY (http://www.webidz.com/1403946,auction_id,auction_details)
Anyone has any suggestions send them on.
Thanks....Dave

Hey Dave!!
I love your add and will check out more later..We DO, however, need you to correct
your direct link and references/pictures to/of ebay. We have ways that you may allow customers
and others to see your FB at other sites!! We are so happy you are here, and please get in
the contest!!

So we're not allowed to put a link in our listings to our feedback on other sites?

Dave,
We appreciate you asking this question and providing the link. This shows a great deal of integrity on your part. You are concerned about making sure you are doing things right. Thank you very much.
Your auction does look good. We do however not allow links in auctions to external sites. If you have a store on WeBidz, and want to link to your ebay store from there, that would be allowed... But we ask to keep store external links to a maximum of two.
Regarding the feedback link. There is one option that has recently made available, so members can display feedback from other sites. It is a service provided by Repatoo, and I have placed a link below to the thread describing this service.

HI there, and yes we are sir..I use Repatoo and also have HUGE background and stats history
at ebay. Your entire page is a ebay page..not just links. I hope that you realize we are working
to build WEBIDZ here, and not float our customer base back to feebay. Many thanks for your
understanding, sir.

If we allowed sellers to place links to feedback on other auction sites, some would abuse this and link to other sellers feedback. We have had such issues in the past, and it does create many issues. By using a system that has quality controls in place, we can assure that the feedback being presented is accurate.

I was going to fix your image in your signature yesterday... you know the one with the X, but then I noticed the cat fixing it. You should have entered that one for the avatar contest!

OK here we go again, I ditched my eBay links, used Repatoo to verify my eBay feedback, and changed the template from IT to a urban camo look, is everything OK with the listing now? I want to get it right so I don't have to go back and fix a bunch of listings in the near future. Our family has family visiting for the next week so I may not get a bunch done this week but I hope to over the next 14 days. So input is appreciated.

To start with, I'm not a Sir that was my dad, you can just refer to me as Dave. Trust me I have pretty much had it with feeBay myself and the intent is not to steer anyone to my eBay from webidz, the links were strictly to show that I am trustworthy. My whole ad was not intended to be eBay or to sell there vs. here, it was my first post here and that is why I came here and asked for input. If webidz pans out at 20% of eBay I have 5 other sellers ready to sign up, so I'm really hoping it pans out for everyone. I am adding links to webidz to all emails & invoices to my eBay customers in hopes they will shop here with the whole community, not just me. I would love to see webidz bust a big ole dent in eBay's business, wouldn't hurt my feelings if they went belly up tomorrow, they have forgotten what got them so fat and high on the totem pole. But what goes up must come down, so they say I hope that includes eBay. Anyway once I get the add type set I can get to getting on with it here so have another gander at the listing and see if it's OK now.
Thanks,
Dave

HI again, Dave!! :)
I just looked again and it looks super!! Nice item as well!
Just tonight, I CLOSED my ebay store ..and removed all
my other listings.. I just don't feel (for me, not speaking
for everyone)..I just don't need them THAT much anymore.
You know what really got to me the most, Dave..that 'carp'
they are trying to pull on us with the feedback..geez..give
ONLY positive..give ME a break!!
I was, not too long ago a silver powerseller and 100% FB.
Help us build up sales here, Dave..we are very glad you
are here! Wising you the very best! I feel you will love it, as
this is a great site! There is no finer Admin any where!!

So far everyone has been very nice and helpful. I so want to get away from eBay but right now it's my employment. I do PC work here locally out of the house but eBay used to be good, about 5 years ago was when they began to nibble at the hand that feeds them, now they decided to just rip that hand off. Like I said I got a bunch of buds that are waiting on me, for some reason I am the "guru", lol. I'll give it the old college try that's a promise. I'll do my best to put the word out there to, maybe with a little luck we can grow this thing into something to rival them. Well I guess I best get some sleep, my wife is going to kill me being in my office this late, but at least I've been cleaning it up because her family is visiting, her family and my father-in-law, I'll claim him she can have the rest;) Do me one last favor take a good hard look at that listing and make sure that I'm good to go with the total format, because when I get rolling I'll be bustin hard at it and I sure don't want to have to fix a 100 plus listings, know what I mean. Thanks a bunch!
Talk to you soon, take care and have a safe & fun weekend:)

Dave,
I have carefully looked over your auction, and it is perfect. Like I stated before, I appreciate and thank you for your approach in asking if your auction format was OK.
We do not recommend that sellers totally quit eBay, and sell with us exclusively. As you are not going to have the same amount of sales as you would there. By putting your eggs in more than one basket, you can hopefully evolve and build your business with us as well. Thus reducing your dependency on eBay. Diversification for any business is a positive move, as dependency on only one could adversely affect your business, by decisions that are made outside your control.
We wish you the best on WeBidz, and will always be here if you need support.

Dave,
Your about me page looks fine. We allow external links on about me and store main pages, but we ask that members keep external links to a maximum of two. So you are fine.
