Some Problems with my store....

I am having some problems, hopefully I can get some help.

1. I have a logo for my store but, when I go in to edit my main page, logo is gone. How can I make it stay until I change it. I always click proceed to save.

2. I go in and write the text portion of my store pages, set the font and size and such, when I check my store from the front door, I have plain font, and small, black letters.

3. Same with my listings.

4. I can not get my "repatoo" to show up on any of my pages, now in my signature. I already have lots of items listed, but would go in and edit them if needed.

OK, that is enough for tonight, I am frustated, and will check back tomorrow evening.

To upload pictures you would first click the "browse..." button to find the picture. Then click the "upload file" button. The page will then refresh and you will see a thumbnail of your picture. Now when you click the "proceed" button, your image would be uploaded.

When you are changing your font size/color, are you highlighting the text you want changed? If not, you will want to highlight the appropriate text, then select the appropriate font size/color for the selected text. You will be able to immediately see the changes you made.

Are you trying to add the repatoo banner to your auctions? If so, you are entering html, and you would need to enter this data on the html page... Instructions: Click the "view/edit source" button in the html editor, which looks like this "<>". Now copy and past your html onto that screen. Click the "apply" button, then click the "ok" button. Your banner should show on that page now.

Please let us know if we have not answered any of your questions correctly, or if there are points you do not understand.

In regard to the repatoo HTML, I have had to put it in to my template prior to
putting on the auction (or) entering it in WAM. This is the reason I have it right on
my store template now, that way it is there, at all times, in case someone wants to
see my rep/history.

I am sorry for the confusion, in my frustration, I did not use the correct wording. Therefore you could not understand my questions.

1. I have loaded my logo, and it works just fine, but if I go into edit my store, I loose the logo. I do the browse, upload, proceed, go out to look. there is my logo. When I go back in to edit, the logo is gone. How do I keep my logo without having to reload it each time I want to edit anything in my store pages?

2. I have writen my text, set the font(comic sans MS), size(6), color(BLUE) and justication(center), included my Repatoo banner on the main page of my store. When I go out, to see what it looks like to anybody else, I see small black print, no Repatoo banner. Can you go in and check this out for me? I would really appreciate it. As I am getting more and more frustrated. I just want a nice looking store, and not so bland.

3. As for the Repatoo, how do I get it on my main page of my store and into my individual auctions?

Rozzie, this may not help you..In the program that I used for my store template,
I just added the repatoo text right at the bottom of the template text, and it shows
there at all times, it might have something to do with the program though, IF you use
a program of some type.

I am using WAM for listing, and just typing directly into Webidz for my store. Hope that helps.

We looked at your store pages from within your account... I noticed on the main settings page that it was not displaying a thumbnail of your image, even though there is an image for your store. We re-uploaded your logo, and it is now showing the thumbnail. If you edit this page and do not see a thumbnail, when you save your changes it will remove the image. We will look into this issue, as it appears to be a problem on our end.

I have also looked into the other display images, and it appears that our system is stripping the html tags for some reason. We will also be looking into this. Your repatoo code was actually posted into the main screen... it should be posted into the view html source screen, which is seen by clicking the "<>" icon. We have changed this for you. This repatoo banner will not display right now, because of the html stripping issue. But once we get this resolved, this should automatically display as intended.

No problem. It appears that this has been like this since our last big update, which was like over four months ago. I am very surprised that this has not been reported, or we did not catch this until now. We appreciate your report and apologize for all the frustration and headache this has caused you. If you are currently entering code for the various store pages, our system is stripping the code and only displaying the text. We are working on a resolution for this, but you will currently only be able to use text. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

It looks like your server is set to not allow pictures to be displayed on outside url's. This is a setting to prevent "bandwidth leakage" from people hotlinking your images. You will need to either change this setting on your server, or upload your images to a file hosting service. Which there are many on the web that are free.

Your html is fine, and will work once these settings are changed, or you provide a picture url outside your server.

After looking into this issue further, we have found the issue. The reason your html is not displaying is because there is dynamic results being displayed with your Repatoo banner, and our system is stripping your html. Our system blocks dynamic content, as this could be used to display malicious content that could harm users PC's. I have removed the repatoo banner from your store page, and your html is displaying correctly now.

I have contacted Pete at Repatoo, and he is looking into alternative display options.

I am also trying to upload my logo from a pictue. but each time it says it is too big, Apparently it is not uploading as a thumbnail. Please help! Thanks

This means that basically your picture size is too large, and would have to be sized down before uploading. You may want to adjust your output settings for your camera, or just resize the images. If you do not have image editing software, I have placed a link below to a free tool that will enable you to easily and quickly resize images.
