I'm having trouble with cut and paste on some of my auctions in ebay transferring successfully to Webidz to the listing form, were I used Auctiva for listing. Odd though because some work fine and others don't. Anyone know what the problem is ? I'll check back later.:)

Hey Chris..!!
Lazy me, just got on here..If you chose the <> at the top of the description box, it should
display correctly.I also have a tutorial somewhere here in the forums on copy/paste.
Also will get to you today with a banner code for you.
I will look at your auctions again, I thought they looked fine, though.
Have a happy day now!!

Chris,

Do you have an auction number of a problem auction, so we can look into this for you? Is it an actual problem with the cut/paste feature, or is it that your auctions are not displaying correctly after listing?

Been gone all day, sorry, no , the auctions mentioned are on ebay and I am manually moving them over by cut and paste. They are Auctiva listed and for some reason when they are highlighted and clicked then come over here, , I click to paste it and it doesn't show bot the cursor moves, and so for the heck of it I drag the mouse over the blank area and the text shows up in blue and when I went ahead and listed it, no text shows up in the description. Then if I go to the html page there it is.Since I'm not html savy, I don't know what to do with that.BUT the really weird thing is that not all the Auctiva auctions do that !! Honest !! I'm sure your wondering why I'm not I'm not using WAM, well I don't like it because of all the html stuff, and I can cut and paste faster than it takes to figure it all out even with the directions.:D

When you copy the auction from Auctiva/ebay, are you copying the html or from the actual ad? If you copy from the ad, it will not copy the appropriate data. What you could do is go to your ebay account. Click to edit the auction, and copy the html source. Then go to your WeBidz auction, click the view source button "<>". Then paste the html data into that entry. Then click the "apply" button, then the "ok" button. You should now be able to see the ad as it will display on your new auction.
