Hi,
I won't go to bed until I have one item listed in my store! :) I am getting an error message when trying to follow prompts on choosing title.
I exported a CVS file from TurboLister and saved on my pc. Trying to import it in AM.
Here is a screen shot of the message:

I have another problem. When I click on edit in WAM 1.49 to fill in all my preferences, there is no way to get the categories to show up. I have clicked the search icon, nothing appears in window that pops up. Nothing in drop down menu.
What am I missing?

Great to have you join us.

Carol,
Could you send your csv file to admin@webidz.com. Then we can check to see what the issue is, and help you get things running.

OK..on that screen shot that Carol shows of the columns mapping,..I have NO idea what to
fill in in each area (column) when I try to transfer from Turbo lister to WAM!! I hope to learn
something, and 'listening' hard!!:D

Her csv import looks like it was entered as something other than comma delimited, but I would have to look at the actual csv file to know for sure. The csv columns should show each as a seperate entry. example: site would be one entry, format another entry, currency another entry, etc. Then users would match those column entries with the WAM source columns. So "currency"(TL column) would be matched with "auction currency"(WAM column), "title"(TL column) would be matched with "auction title"(WAM column), etc.
There would be many columns from the turbo lister export that would not apply, and would not be matched with anything. Like "site", "subtitle text", etc... only apply to ebay. You would basically just match the auction specific data, like price, title, category, description, picture, etc. Then mark other options that are the same for all auctions as "use default entry", which is taken from the preferences page. So duration, payment options, currency, etc., would most likely all be the same, so your default preferences for these entries should be used. (be sure to have your preferences page set up before importing though).

Carol,
We have similar instructions at the below url, which is where members initially download the program from. I am not sure how detailed they are though.
