Easy way to get all Email addresses from PayPal to send invites to Webidz

Hello Sellers,

I downloaded my PayPal history for the past year and in that .CSV file every single email address is listed of all of my buyers who paid me through PayPal. I am sending them an email to let them know that if they come here and buy any item from me, they get 20% off of their total. (My items are only .99 starting out.) I have almost 600 emails to mail to. You might want to come up with a similar plan.

I just sent out the following email to 550 of my best customers (there were ~555) :) If you do try to do this, make sure you Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) them so that they do not have each other's email addresses. Just add a fake email for the "To" address (I added Unclehunk44_Ebay_Customers" because it sounded less like spam and more like they are a part of a group.

I downloaded my history file from Paypal but for some reason, I cannot open a .csv file on my system? I have Windows XP, what should I do?

Hello,

You need to open the file using Microsoft Excel however other programs should be able to open the file. The other programs most likely will not maintain the formatting. CSV files means the information is separated by commas. So Excel knows to put the information in separate columns.

To open the file in Excel, open Excel first, and then click on "File" > "Open" and find that file on your computer. You may be able to open it in Notepad also.

I finally found how to open it in Excel before I saw your response. Thanks. I have already sent out about 100 emails, have about 200 to go, and thast will complete my 2007 customers who paid with PayPal. Shame I don't have the email addresses for all those who sent me a check M/O or cash, I only have their mailing address in my address book file online.
