I just wanted to know if anyone here is on XP and has loaded IE-7?? Just wondered how you
felt about it? I have a brand new hard drive but just 'updated' to IE7..I got a scary
warning and could not connect to internet. I found a fix (obviously:D) if anyone needs it.

Anyhow any opinions on IE-7??

Thanks!

Lana,

I have IE 7 and don't seem to have any problems, but then I never used any other version. I had AOL, till I found free dial-up. You see I live in very rural area, no DSL, no cable, no mail service, no electric. Hubby rides stationary bike for me to be here. :D

Hi Ms. Rozzie:D
Sounds like you are in God's country anyway!! LOL, when we moved here from Fl. years ago,
there was NO computer access of any type..MOST folks were not even using desktop applications
for business here. NO cable..MOST folks still used TV antennae outside and it only picked up Asheville,
NC..It would not even go as far as Atlanta, Ga.!! :D
It is odd though, when we start to 'get' the conveniences, ALL seemed to come in in like less than a
year!! (there was no cell phones even until that same year, I suppose it is all connected..Admin prolly
knows 'bout all that stuff).

I use Firefox 99% of the time. I LOVE Firefox.

I have IE7, but I like Firefox better. Loads quicker, IMO.

Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/products/download.html?product=firefox-2.0.0.12&os=win&lang=en-US) is superior to any version of IE in many ways. You will not break anything if you install it. Also, the best part is that it is far more secure than IE. There are no where near as many vulnerabilities that hackers can use to take over your computer. Also, with it having a smaller market share there are not going to be as many people attempting to find those vulnerabilities. The hackers are going to concentrate on IE and it's 75% market share.

I highly recommend downloading and installing it.
