Customized Categories

Why can't we use our customized categories when we list an item as 'Both", auction and store? It would be beneficial to be able to use them for all my listings. Can you try to amend this? Thanks

The site does not allow this, but you would be able to do this with the auction manager. Just make sure you "download master data", to populate your custom categories into the auction manager.

Then when selecting categories, your custom categories would be at the bottom of the list. We recommend listing the first category as a site category, and the second category as your custom store category.

I just looked at Auction Manager, and when I open the download master data, I just see the same 6 categories that were there when I first set WAM up. Should I just create my custom categories, then go back to download master data, and just put a check mark in the categories box, and only download that?
And while I am at it, is there a way in WAM to create folders, so that i could move all y uploaded items into a folder, and only see items yet to be uploaded in my inventory?

You could just select to download the categories, but we would recommend getting in the habit of downloading all at once. The other areas are not updated very often, but at least you would get them if they were available. It is only a few seconds more, but that would be up to you.
