The boys and I have been getting ready for X-mas today. We put the tree up and they are decorating it and the fireplace mantle. It is so much fun to see them work together. They are 11 and 13. My oldest has autism, so if you can imagine all the ornaments in one spot on the tree. It's pretty funny looking but they are so proud, I hate to move them. LOL This year they are putting things where they would like them and I will just clean up the mess behind them. Afterall , it's a special time of year for them too.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful time getting ready for the holiday season this year!

Wife and I, as always, will have beautiful decorations, inside and lights all over the front, back and top of the house, but that's yet to come. Although we live back in the woods about 1/4 mile from the nearest country road, with the leaves almost gone from the trees, it shines beautifully through the woods here. This year, our 3 year old granddaughter has asked NaNa can she help. LoL While traveling around our roads and town, I see that even with the economy in dire condition, people seem to have a great Christmas spirit, as decorations abound...seems more so than last year.

Hey everyone..Just a note to Gene first..Thank you so much for your purchase and
I will be late tomorrow mailing. I had/have a 'quick-turn-around' at work today/and tomorrow so if
anyone needs me, just pm me and I will check and answer all tomorrow night.. LOL, our
store is busy busy (I think more so than usual!!) Gene, we live on top of a mountain, and
you would not believe the lights from here!!

JB & I have done nothing yet!!
I think we are going to send money to the kids and (12!!) grans, as they are in other states,
and need it right now, of course when they come in January, we will have extras for
them all!! :D

JB & I are having a very special huge mantle built for our new den..(THAT will be our gift ):D
We are going to keep OUR Christmas very simple..Do a LOT of things at church, help a family in
need, and just kick back (when I am NOT at the store) and decorate and make marvelous
food!! Maybe even make goodies for the neighbors and my co-workers!!

I love this when everyone discusses their plans!! :D

Blessing and joy to all..
Gotta sign off pretty soon here!!

HI!

Well we are unable to decorate this year for Christmas except for a small tree. What Gene discribed is what we have always wanted to do :) This year has been kinder to us as a family than the previous five so I hope we are on a roll:rolleyes:

This coming weekend I am hoping to make gingerbread cookies with the kids and let them decorate them and hopfully we can also buy the tree.
I am crocheting ornament snowflakes and we may make some felt stars with glitter and such for a homey feel.

If anyone would like me to list some crochet snowflakes let me know, I just thought it might be too close now.

We have started our shopping with the two littlest ones almost done already. But hubby took sick and missed a weeks pay so we had to adjust what we want to get the three older ones:eek:

That's all for now folks!

Kind Regards,

I haven't got any decorations up yet, really not enough room in my bedroom where I live. Grandma doesn't like the decorations downstairs, she has demintia and thinks it costs to much money.

Right now I can't get the kids any presents but they understand, and my parents and other grandparents and my brother and sister-in-law sorta makeup for it. It would be nice to give them something but they know I love them.

My oldest daughter and me are going to try to decorate a little but we will see.

Fe fi So La Tee Dee dum. LoL.

I'm gonna sang now.

It's beginning to look a little like Christmas,
All the rooms are cluttered up,
It won't be long until,
I have to climb a way way up,
to string lights here and yonder,
what if I fall and get banged up,
my dear lil wife just tells me,
Gene, your insurance is paid up. LoL.

WHATTA A WIFE! !

ROFLMAO!!
By the way...the song is in F flat. LoL.
Now, back to the auction business.
Gosh, I'm slow.
