Hello all. I sell an extremely seasonal item, and the season is over, so this year is out. But, I was just wondering if all you seasoned sellers have an opinion.
I sell all types of garden plants, water lilies, and other aquatic plants, plus African Violets, and also dried gourds for artists. (Yes, there is such a thing as a gourd artist.)
I'm really trying to wean myself off E-Bay. The commisions are killing me.
Think I could make a go of it on this forum?
I've tried BidZig. Got a LOT of hits. Not a single sale.
Tried a few others, no hits, no sales.
I ship around 30 items a day via E-Bay. So it's not my product that is the problem. E-Bay does me some good. But the fees are nuts. Plus, throw in the PayPal commission, and I'm making about 5 bucks per sale.
I gotta do better than that, or I'll starve.
Ideas folks?
