It would be a nice addition for WeBidz, too, if our customers could more easily pay us with their credit cards...especially since that is the most used method in so many other shopping sites, both online and off. Just another idea. Thanks.

if this option will only be offered to eBay buyers and not to buyers on any other site.

Sandi ~ It might be only for eBay unless they smell that there's something in it for them. :rolleyes: Not sure how that would work, but there's got to be another avenue somewhere somehow. Can't be lettin' eBay have all the eggs in their basket! ;)

It is for ebay check out only. They still will make their fees as (the seller)will still pay them.

If I correctly understand James' answer to a different question, this actually may be a possibility for us here. Yes, we would have to pay the PayPal fee, but the buyer would not have to have a PayPal account.

That link posted above is referring to a checkout option within ebay's system... Paying with a credit card via Paypal without having a Paypal account has been available for quite some time. As long as the sellers Paypal account accepts credit cards, that option should be available.

After we release our new platform, we can look into a similar checkout option. This can currently be done, but some buyers are not aware of this, and may not even click the Paypal link... thinking they do not have a paypal account, or do not want to pay via that method.
