Sign-Ups for this game will run thru tomorrow morning (9/3), at 9:45 am EDT.

Game will START this tomorrow morning (9/3) at 10:00 am EDT.

This will be a speed bingo, so the game will be completed tomorrow morning.

I will try to update the original post with the called letters as I go, but it may lag behind a few words.

Rules are simple. I will give a list of the 30 inventors. Pick 10 of them and send them to me via PM. Be sure to put "Inventors BINGO WORDS" in the subject line!

I will not open your lists until someone has a Bingo. The First Person to have all ten of their words called and calls out /types BINGO will be the winner of the game.

YOU MUST CALL BINGO ON THIS POST TO HAVE A VALID BINGO!

When the Bingo has been verified, by me, the winner will receive 200 WeBex Points.

So let's have fun and celebrate the beginning of the football season.

What do you think Brad, shall we plan this for another day? I think that I have a very interesting list. Even has a link to read more about the author.

This bingo was cancelled, sorry.

I will try to do it another day in the daytime hours, so that those that are not able to play in the evening can enjoy a game.

Thank you for understanding,
Roz

The timestamp is off by 2 hours. Not sure what the problem is.

I know that is why it took me so long to pick the names that I did. I spent more time reading than I did making the list.

Here is the site that I found this info, I chose folks that have influenced our lives today that are more or less unknown to us.
http://inventors.about.com/od/astartinventors/a/Famous_Inventor.htm

Very interesting reading too.

Don't get lost there, I got so absorbed I almost forgot about the list.

I know what you mean Lana, I have gotten up at 4am for 34 years, except the few years off and on that I have worked 3rd shift. About 5 years, then I was up by noon, so I could get a few things done before the kids got home from school.

When my kids were babies, I would lay them down for bed, and turn up the radio or tv, and make sure that I vacuumed during that time. My son was a very light sleeper as an infant so I would turn on the vacuum just outside his bedroom.

I was able to do everything except vacuum at 4am, hubby would wake up, DRAT. I used to get more accomplished between 4 and 6am than I would on a whole day off.

Now that I have been "retired" for 5 days the latest I have slept is 4:15, so I guess for me that is sleeping in.

Debbie,

I am bored stiff, so hope to go back to work soon. Although I have lots of projects to do, I just can't seem to get motivated.

Off to list some more in WAM, trying to organize it.

Chat later,
Roz
