When is Too Long to wait for a Payment?

Hello All at Webidz,
I'm still a bit new at selling. So, I want to get other sellers feeling on this issue. I have two buyers that where sending checks. The last communication was over a month ago and still no checks. Since I got the last message from them I have sent two messages to each. Both through the Webidz message board for the item and directly.
What do people think? I don't want to jump the gun on reporting a non-paying buyer.

Last communication over a month ago?? Even with waiting for payday to come and mail times you should have had checks by now.
I am assuming they have not responded to your emails. Last date of emails??
If over a week I would go ahead and report for non-payment. IMHO
If you were a non-performing seller they would have reported you within 30 days.

We wait up to 10 days for payment and sending 2 reminders! If they do not respond payment by then we report them as a non payer to admin and give them a neg feedback! We need to have all the sellers to report these non payers and give them feed back so other sellers can see who there dealing with so they can block them from bidding too! A good place to report them to admin is under the General Site Problems Thread!

I usually give my customers a week to 10 buisness days. After that then I would file if there has been no communication.

Mail within the US is usually delivered within 3-4 business days... So ten days would be adequate time before filing a NPB alert. If the buyer had contacted you saying it would be delayed for whatever reason, then you would need to make a judgement call. 30 days is definitely a non paying bidder, and should be reported.

I will take the suggestion and report the two people to general system problems. I have send two messages over the last few weeks, so that should fit the bill.
