American jazz guitarist and inventor Les Paul was credited with inventing the solid-body electric guitar in 1941 along with many other recording innovations. In 1949 Paul married Gene Autry's singer, Colleen Summer, and she then changed her name to Mary Ford. Together they had hit records during the 1950's including Mockin' Bird Hill and Vaya Con Dios. They also hosted a popular TV show, The Les Paul and Mary Ford at Home Show (1953-1960).
My DVD features 10 episodes of Les Paul and Mary Ford in the comfort of their own home, including the kitsch original television commercials!
This, like all of my CDs and DVDs, is a new, factory pressed silver disc. It is packaged in a digipak. It is ALL REGION, and a must have for any fan/collector!
