I finally got the ability to list an auction. However, I noticed the category, "Direct Payment Methods," in the selling form, only one (google) would allow me to X it. I don’t even have a Google account. I do have a paypal account and could not X it for direct but I could for indirect. You can X anything for indirect. I also note that webidz doesn't offer any type of notice that the seller will take checks and MOs. Anybody know how to manipulate the above payment methods to reflect a paypal account as well as taking checks and MOs besides listing in the payment portion of the description which people tend to ingore? It seems so obvious that I'm sure I must be overlooking something.

Bacardistuff,
I use WAM, so had to go and make up a listing, it seems to me that when you set up you account you would have put in your paypal address, and any others you may have.... did you do that? I could check the paypal box, then below is the box for offline payments and I could check all the apply...
I remember a post referring to setting up you preferances, will see if I can find it to refer you to....
In the meantime, sorry you are having so much trouble...must be Admin is sleeping in today...he should be around anytime to set you on the right track....honest!!!

In order to use direct pay, sellers must set up in their members area first. I have included links below, on how to set up various direct pay options.

Thanks Admin, I was about to tell him to sign in to members and then hit 'PREFILLED FIELDS'
to fill in many things. I found more to prefill myself, while there!! :D

Perhaps the prefilled area is what I need? I've got the paypal problem figured out but I still can't find an area about payment methods such as MOs and checks being accepted so when a person looks at an auction, they don't have to necessarily worry about reading the description to know this.

Money orders, checks, cashiers checks stuff like that are listed in the offline payments prefilled section I believe.
Yep thats where its at. Although cashiers check is not listed as a payment source.
