You may want to adjust your output settings for your camera, or just resize the images. If you do not have image editing software, I have placed a link below to a free tool that will enable you to easily and quickly resize images.
We are looking into implementing something directly into the auction manager program, which will automatically resize images to make them compliant with site specs. But do not have any automated system as of yet.

the link above is provided by Admin to download a resizer.
Lana also suggests trying photobucket.com
Hope the link helps.

I use photo bucket to store all my photos. It's free and you can store as many photos as you want. No limit. And in it, there is an edit feature with alows you to resize photo to post almost any where you want. In here, in email, blogs, websites and so on. I use the website setting to size my photos for posting in my listing in here.
Hope this helps a little.

I use Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) to resize all of my images. It has a very nice way to do batch resize and rename all at the same time. For my camera resizing to 35% of the original works out nicely.

Thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it. I have Paint shop pro but the resize program is very complex. I have no idea what I'm doing? All I know id the picture can't be more than 200 KB there's nothing for resizing pictures that tells me when the picture is 200KB I'm totally lost?

When I get home this evening I can post for you a step by step process on how to do this with irfanview. (It is a free program, btw).

OK, I can finally get around to showing how to resize pictures using Irfanview.
Step 1. Download and install Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com) for free.
Step 2. Open the program. You should see a window with some pretty standard commands across the top.
Step 3. Click on File - Batch Conversion/Rename. This opens a new interface window,
Step 4. In the window that just opened browse to the files you would like to resize and add them using the add button to the left of the file browser.
Step 4. Set your options. 1). Output Directory. 2). Conversion. Rename. Or both. 3). if using rename set the name pattern in the box at the bottom. (Leave the 3 # signs) A name like pics_### will result in pics_001, pics_002, etc....
Step 5. Check on "Use advanced options", then click "Set advanced options". This opens another window.
Step 6. Check the RESIZE box on. Select percent of original and set your percents. I use 35% with my 6MP camera and get nice results. Leave all other boxes as they are.
Step 7. Click "OK". Closes this window.
Step 8. Click "Start". This will resize and/or rename all of your pics.
DONE!
