We got our Dell with the win xp pro and we downloaded from your link you have on this thread at the top! It said we needed to dowmload Framework so we downloaded the 2.0 framework! There were a couple to pick from so i hope we got the right one! We did that and wam downloaded everything but did not come in a Zip File! We clicked on set up, wam came up and we did our log in then clicked Master data and that warning came up like before! (Cant; fine username) Below is the error we got from the c file!

Here is the name of the framework i downloaded!
Redistributable Package X86

PS: It also says TEST AUCTION at the top!

The framework was ok! What it was is when the file comes up it isn't a extract file like my win 98 was just a file box! Then i clicked it and then i could extract it!

mj,

Your auction manager program says "test auction manager"? If so, that is an older test version. Did you transfer the program from your old pc, or download a fresh version?

Lana,

The auction manager should have the .NET framework bundled with the install, for users that do not already have this on their PC. You should not have to go to external sources to install.

ADMIN! We got it at that link you have at the beginning of this thread! But then we got it right as i did not open the zip correct the first time! Our new pc went dark last night after i had everything transfered for our business, so we had to reboot the whole xp program over again from scratch! Guess what caused it was the AVG virus protection no good! We download your wam again today and everything went great!! Everything tranfered over to wam from the site fast and no problem!
The framework even downloaded good too!
The way it looks if a person gets a test auction off that link, It means that it was not unziped right or installed right! As the one we have now does not say test auction!

Thanks
John

I know I previously supplied a setting.xml file, for members that were having issues... You are not replacing that file are you? As fresh installs would not need this file replaced.

We have a new application due out any time now... Our programmers actually provided to me yesterday, and I am running some tests now. There are misc bug fixes, as well as a totally revamped invoicing system. The new invoicing system is going to be excellent, and will provide sellers a very easy to use system. Our previous invoicing system had many flaws and inconsistencies, which most should now be fixed.

We will most likely not provide an auto update for this newest version right now, until we can thoroughly test to ensure everything to auto update correctly. We do not want to have another issue like our previous auto-update fiasco. So if you are someone that wants the new system right away, you would need to uninstall the old and install the new. We will post more details later... Hopefully within the next 24-48 hours.
