I am editing all my auctions because I finally was taught how to copy and paste the Repatoo link into the description field. But I like to space out my paragraphs, and even though during the edit process thay are all spaced out how I want them, after I click on proceed to complete the editing, when I view the edited auction, everything is scrunched up with no paragraph separation. What do I do and why is this happening?

Phip,

Are you pasting the code into the description box, or opening and editing the "preview" or "source" screen. If you are pasting into the source screen... look at the preview screen to see how it will look. If you want it seperated further, just click the enter button while on the preview screen, to drop it down. If you then look at the code on the source page, you will see that it will wrap the below code around your entry. Which is "new paragraph code.

<P>your entry</P>

Please let us know if this does not resolve your issue.

If you look at auction 1455793, that is how I want them to look, and when working with my templates, that is how they are coming out. Great. But then look at auction 1444617 which I just edited. Because it is an active auction, it does not give me the preview/source modes, just the description box. Anyway, originally, this auction had only the first sentence in it. All the info about combined shipping and below, I just added, spacing out the paragraphs they way i wanted them. But after clicking on proceed, cause I had no way to preview, it is all scrunched up again. I guess with those few auctions I listed before getting my templates right, I'll just have to live with it or, redo them via the templates.

Phil..in some of my templates I ALSO use entry
<center> entry </center> (looks better to me)
OR; entry

Thanks Lana

My auctions done from my templates are coming out just like I want them. It's just the ones that are active, that I uploaded before I got my templates right, that are getting scrunched up when I edit them. No biggie, it's only 25 or so.

Phil,

Did you edit from the site, or from the auction manager? If you edit from the site, be sure to click the view source button, which looks like "<>" on the menu. Then you can paste and modify your html.
