Good Day!
I have been a little frustrated with the problem of having to change the format for my WeBidz auctions because in FP when I have 1.5 spacing in a paragraph, I need to change it to 350% to get that outcome when listing with WAM.
Today I am noticing that all apostrophes and hypens are messed up and there is a need to go back and edit in WAM and relaunch to revise listing. Several attempts are needed to get it right.
Also, is the page background not allowed? I have noticed that the code for a page background will not stay in my WAM. I paste it in, and it is stripped out when the auction launches. Also, no right click is not allowed?
TIA

I would need to look at the code to be able to figure out answers for most of your questions. So if you could forward to admin@webidz.com, we could take a look for you.
Regarding backround color, it is allowed. Please see a random auction below that has backround color. Possibly you can look at the source code to see how they did this.

This sounds like an incompatabilty issue with FP. I have never personally used FP, so I could not tell you for sure.
Where are you trying to right click? The auction manager allows right clicking on all pages. The view source screen on the site does not allow right clicking, but does have cut, copy and paste buttons on the top of the screen.

- I was referring to an image (self-hosted) used for a background for the entire page, not just a background color.
- I have code (<body oncontextmenu="return false;">) in all my auctions that prevent viewers to right click on my page to save photos, etc. Of course, if they use Ctrl C, they could anyway, but some don't know about that! This code disappears in a black hole between launching with WAM and listing being up on WeBidz website.
I have no problems using FP at two other auction sites I use. :)
The apostrophes and hyphens are no big deal, just another step, time consuming revision needed. I admit to being spoiled. Will forward code now.
Thanks,

I looked at the example of color, they probably formatted the background of a table. Not sure.
Anyway, I decided to not worry about sending you the code. I will just revise in WAM and relaunch when I find errors. I need to be patient.
Thanks for your help.

Carol,
Did you know you can stop people from displaying your images outside your domain(hotlinking), and you can also set what sites are allowed to display your images. Please see the below url for more details.

I have looked at one of your most recently listed auctions, and there is backround images that are displaying for your border...

Okay, I have been fooling with trying to edit my Code in Source of WAM. I can paste in "<body background="http://www.ccamato.net/Amato's%20eBooks/getajob/get_a_job_fast_bg.jpg">" and I am able to preview the correct display (including background image used, perfectly, I click Save from the Source part but when I re-open the listing to preview.........it has mysteriously disappeared. WAM doesn't 'hold' certain code, don't know why.

Carol,
It appears that it is stripping the body tag, which is where your backround is set up. This is most likely because body tags are already designated by our page, and your auction is a table within the body. You should try setting your backround in the table or tbody section of the code.
