A couple of questions for Admin......Or anyone that knows how to do it.

For the March promos...I have went into Wam and the site and changed the prefilled shipping and payment information.
I uploaded all my running auctions into Wam...but can't figure out how to upload the closed auctions.
How do you edit multiple auctions with the prefilled info in the template? Seems like you have to edit each auction seperately. (Time consuming)

When you edit prefilled info on the site pages...will that information only be shown on New auctions or is there a way to relist and have that edited prefilled information show in the relisted item? Seems like you have to edit each auction after relist as it still contains the "old" prefilled information.

I have several closed auctions and wanted the changes to show March promos without having to go in and type all that into each auction.

Kathy,

Yes, you would have to manually change each auction, then upload. We are planning on having bulk edit options in the future, but it is not something that is currently available.

There is no way to edit closed auctions (manually or otherwise), or auctions with bids. This will always remain this way for security reasons. Say someone is under investigation for false advertising by the FTC, or is selling stolen merchandise... They would be able to alter ended auctions, which would hinder any investigations.

Okay, Thanks bossman....Looks like I have some work to be doing then for March....May take me all weekend to get it done but I will.
Starting with my closed auctions...I will just do some copy and paste and then upload from Wam, Then just delete them in closed. I think that will be the most effective way to go about it...Then will work on currently running listings.
The only real things I am changing is the shipping price and adding the "make an offer".

Never thought about the whole being under investigation for anything, guess cause I don't have a criminal mind.

Some people get very tricky, so we need to be sure we are doing our part in preventing and investigating such. Most members are great, but it only takes a few bad apples to stir up the pot.

We know you're not that way kat, but we can't play favorites when it comes to security policies and procedures...

No problem bossman, I understand why policies are in place, and glad they are...was just asking if there was a simple way to get the pricing and shipping updates into the listings.....done a couple last night and not having to do alot to it so It was going pretty smooth....The only reason I stopped is because my mouse battery went dead. Really the only copy and paste that I am having to do is the description, Title doesn't take long to type and I'm just moving it into the new Wam template, so all the prefilled information is there....then just do the price and "make an offer" and waaallaaa New auction.
