Just Curious, I just signed up with this website today. How long has webidz been around? Is this a good place to sell? Traffic? Or very slow? Thanks!!

The more we as sellers advertise to our customers the more traffic we'll have.

I downloaded my entire PayPal history and emailed every email address in the history. So far I have sold and mailed 5 items. If we don't go back to the bad guys we'll force buyers to look elsewhere.

I am fairly new here too, since the end of January. The most important thing I would say to you is be patient. The site is fairly new, about 3 years, but the people that run it are much friendlier than over at the bay. Now of course, the site is smaller, fewer members, so of course responses are quicker than over there. Keep in mind that the traffic will grow as more people find out about us over here on WeBidz, and more people become disenchanted with all the bad stuff going at the bay. Just liike Rome was not built in a day, it will take time to get sales. I still have zero, but I followed the advice from the earlier post and have been sending out about 50 - 75 emails a week to my customers from the bay. I still have several hundred to send out, and I am hoping to drag some of them over here. Be positive, you'll find many friendly people here and who knows, we may just become the real and only alternative to the bay someday soon.

I think I registered to buy in August last year and did nothing with it. Started listing about 30 days ago. Sold 5 items so far. I have not gone to paypal for a list but it is a good idea. I was only planning to test the waters but have upgraded to a larger store - will probably never need as much space as I got but want to be ready. I really expect this site to explode. I hope not so large that it gets like ebay, but very successful. I have sold fairly expensive and low cost items so far. I can tell you there are people looking and buying. Very pleased with what I have seen in a much shorter time than expected. I don't want to list on ebay and don't like taking paypal anymore. Both fee you to death. This site has a few things I am not used to but what site does not? List and list some more!!! Keep your prices low and provide good service. It cost you less here so pass it on, we will all grow with it.

say for sure! (I have been here THREE years soon!!) :D

The WeBidz site has been in existence for a little over three years, but we have been business owners for about 15 years. Mostly in the manufacturing/distribution sector.

I know when we have talked in private in the past, I told you that we have been online for like 8 years... But that was in reference to our other businesses. So possibly that is what you were thinking.
