When i delete an item in WAM, do i have to go and find it on the auction site too to delete it there?

Thanks

I would definitely have to say yes on this one. The only thing the site knows about WAM is what you upload. Therefore, when you delete something in WAM you are simply deleting it in your local database, not the site database.

There is currently no option to end/delete auctions from within the auction manager. This will be a function in the near future though, as we plan on implementing a "end now" option. You would just make the change, then upload to end the auction.

The closest thing we have right now would be to turn off auto-relist for the item, then upload the changes. The item would not end at that time, but it would not relist when it ends... Might be easier than having to search through thousands of items on the site.

Are you planning on adding an open ended duration? That way, instead of enabling the relist option, you simply upload an item and it stays open until either it sells or I choose to end it. It gets a bit tedious with the relist option because once the relist cycle is complete, I have to go into each auction and rer enable it.

There are no current plans for this, but it is something we could look into. I am assuming you are referring to a buy out only format auction? As a bid auction would not be feasable to not have an end date. Or are you suggesting relist until sold?

I set mine to be relist 99 times. On a 1 week auction that is almost 1.5 years of automatic relistiing.

yes, relist until sold.

Phil,

That is basically what the current relist involves. As sellers can opt to have their item relist up to 99 times, which would stop relisting when the item sells. Since we do not charge listing fees, the relist till sold could become problematic. This would be due to a seller listing in such a format, then forgetting about the item(s). Then there would be more potential to have many items on the site that may not be monitored or even available. So by having a cut off point, these unmonitored auctions eventually fall off.

I thought there was a HUGE amount of (auto) relist available, so should not be a prob., (IMHO) :D
As long as I have been here, I don't think I have EVER done any relist.
