Just checking to see if anyone did the updates in WAM! I didn't dare this time until someone elde does it first! The update from 4.9 to 5. didn't work good for me the last time!:(

I have not even tried, been busy with listing, and did not want to mess that up... Also like you, thought that I would wait this time...

I'm running 4.8, I don't even get the update option box poppin up....let me know when yall have the bugs worked out :D

Not me, I have been to busy getting Spring in my store, so have been using the old version. I think Joe (elkaye) did and posted very specific directions.

I though I posted this elsewhere, but cannot remember for sure... v2.05 was a major config update, which auto update did not work for most. Incremental updates after this should be fine, until v3.xx.

We recommend that members "backup auctions" from the tools menu every once in a while, which also backs up preferences and templates. Then if you ever experience update issues, you can uninstall the current version, then download and install the new version. Then you can "restore auctions" from the tools menu to get everything back.

Usually auto updates should go smooth. But since this program is still fairly new, we are making major changes here and there for better performance. These major changes usually have config and root changes, which do not always work through the auto update process.

I'm new to this thread,When maintanence was done yesterday I lost all my items i just listed this week grrrr,all my old ones i deleted are back,Is this a glitch they will fix or do i have to re-list everything all over again .

We do expect your items to be put back but are still in the dark at this point. Admin. is working hard to correct this and we will all know as soon as it is corrected as to what was wrong and how it has been addressed. Please give it a little time and patience. Thanks!

The updater runs everytime I open WAM. Is it supposed to do that?
