I would love to make a suggestionHow about doing a contest where everytime you help a person with a question you get a point and everytime you make a sale you get a point at the end of the month the person with the most points wins and can use that amount towards stuff on this site. Example the points turn into cash for the website so if you have 25 points that's $25 stuff you want to use on your auctions. It really is nice because it get people to help others and to sell. ;)

We are actually working on various contests right now... including selling, buying and listing contests. These will most likely be run every month. We are currently working on the coding right now, where most of the process will be automated... with manual audits. We will most likely be posting more details within the next week.

We have to be able to budget contests, so an undetermined prize amount will most likely not work (like a point converted to cash reward). Say we have a budget of $200 per month for contests... a contest goes crazy and the payout is $400. Then we would not be able to have another contest for two months. I think it would be better to have pre-determined prizes for various contests on a monthly basis. This way we can always have contests running, and our members know what to expect. Then as our contest budget increases, we can either increase payouts or add more contests.

The forum posting contest that you mention has actually been discussed, and is definitely an option. But we need to complete the coding and implement the current contests before adding others to the list.

Thanks for your suggestion, and we welcome any more you may have. Although we would not implement any new suggestions right now, as we are already working on a few... We will be looking for more ideas for future contests.
