Here are some steps that all of us sellers should follow in case there ever is a lost again! (Even if there isn't)
#1- When you sell a item! Take and print out all the info of the item, buyers info and put it in your Sold Slot!
#2- When the buyer pays! Print any additional info if needed and put it in your Paid Slot!
$3- When you ship! Print or write your tracking number on your print copies and put them in your Shipped Slot! Also email or go to your messages and send your buyer a copy of the track #!
This way if your PC or the web site ever crashes your will at least have all this to go by for your sold item at least! We have been doing this for years in all our stores and auction sites and that printed info has came in handy many times!
Good Luck everyone and MJ is glad to be here with all of you!

Another good idea is to backup your WAM, I learned this one the hard way. I had just updated my WAM from the site, had made all my changes for my April special, 312 auctions in WAM. Last night I had them all moved to "waiting to upload" section, then read in the forums that John of MJ Trading was loading his up in increments, So decided to follow him, as he is more knowledgable than I am. I went into the "waiting to upload" and deleted all those listings, guess what.... that also deletes them in your "inventory" section.:o:eek: So here I sat wanting to cry, but decided to go forward instead.
I was smart and exported all my listings to Excell, so at least I have a base to move forward from. I am doing the big cleaning that I wanted to do, and can't really put it off any longer.
Remember to backup your WAM, it will save you time in the long run.

Tip for WAM.......You can have 5k sitting in waiting to upload.......what you will see when you open WAM is the 5k will not only be in your inventory tab, but also in the upload tab.......to list in increments, simply highlight 10, 15, 20, whatever the amount..right click, select upload this listing.......when the 10, 15, 20 are finished uploading, they will go away from your upload tab on their own, then simply select however many more by highlighting, and following the steps......if you select upload now on the bottom right corner, it will upload all that you have waiting in the upload tab, All the listings will still be in your inventory tab.....then back up inventory.

We would suggest leaving in your inventory tab until you are ready to upload. If you have items in your waiting for upload section that you do not want there, you can right click and select send back to inventory. The inventory tab will show you the status of each item, so you should know what items still need to be uploaded, or which have been modified. If the status says "active", then this means that the auction has already been uploaded.

Thanks for that info admin!! But where were you when I needed it, oh yah, you had much bigger problems of your own. That's just fine, as in cleaning out my store I did notice that I have been invaded by Killer Dust Bunnies. I did call the ex-terminator, but he seems to be busy governing the state of CA. (OK, there is my sic joke for the day!!)
I have learned a great lesson here. Thanks for all your wonderful help, don't know where I would be with out it. Yah I do, I would be in the poor house from the listing fees!
Have a wonderful evening,
