Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas!

We received this in our email and felt some of you might enjoy it.
It greatly moved us, and made us even more eager to reach out
to others.
Bless all of you with love, peace, and a abundance of joy and health
this holiday season.
Lana & JB

In September 1960, I woke up one morning with six hungry babies
> and just 75 cents in my pocket.
Their father was gone.
The boys ranged from three months to seven years; their sister
was two.
Their Dad had never been much more than a presence they feared.
Whenever they heard his tires crunch on the gravel driveway they
would scramble to hide under their beds.
He did manage to leave $15 a week to buy groceries.

Oh Lana,

Thank you so much. I hope you don't mind but I want to email to all my friends and then print it to put on my wall in my office and when I feel down I can read it and remember the Lord knows what I need.

Merry christmas.

Thank you again,
cim

Oh Cim...PLEASE DO send it on..I, as MANY in the nation at that time, grew up in a VERY poor household,
but ONLY in material things. There was 7 of us as well, and Ma and Dad would have done almost ANYTHING
to raise us correctly and keep us safe. We all had/have very strong beliefs in God, our families, and our nation.
We, like the lady in this story, hardly KNEW what the WELFARE was, and my Dad would not have taken it anyway,
(UNLESS) we were starving. The Lord always seemed to provide, one-day-at-a-time. I have wonderful memories.

I pray that the Lord will bless you all on this yes..it is to us..HOLY day. and is CHRIST-Mass..Many wonderful
wishes for a peaceful, joyful, and healthful New year, as well! :)

Wow! That was wonderful Lana!

I pray that everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year! My family sure did. We have been trying to help the kids realize the difference between needing and wanting. There are so many family's out there that need. I so wish the best for them and say my prayers for them everyday.

May we all prosper in the New Year here at WeBidz so some of those needs can be filled.

Hi there Ms. Velvet..I think we have sort of a tough year coming (economically speaking)
with gas/oil prices and such, which appear to be driving the cost of all other commodities up..
I think online business could be very good in general, as many folks (like JB & I) will chose to
do a lot of their buying online, other than for food, household products & gas). We will be buying
ALL of our commodity type items (other than the above) online. I don't think we are alone. Anyway,
long story short, I want us ALL to get in to the mind frame of a GREAT year coming, list and
relist our products and sell some items at 'best buy' prices to really get the year started with a
'bang' :D
Hope everyone is having the most wonderful holidays you have ever had. Enjoy your families,
good food, peace, and love!!

Everybody, please visit the forums as often as possible..LOL,. I get lonely here sometimes! :p

Thanks Lana, for the reminder that no matter how bad your life may seem, there is always someone in need.

Hope that you are blessed...
