Your 2008 Contract
After serious & cautious consideration.....your contract of
friendship has been renewed for the New Year 2008! It was a very
hard decision to make. So try not to mess it up, now!!!:D

My Wishes for You in 2008
May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts.
May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 bills.
May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!
May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and
may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy.
May the problems you had... forget your home address! In simple words ............

May 2008 be the best year of your life!!!

Share life as it happens

Do you eat black-eyed-peas, fresh greens, & corn bread where YOU live on
New Years Day, or is this 'JUST Southern'??:o:D

We don't eat anything special. Our special thing is to sleep in.

I read about it when I was looking for a new year article for my newsletter. I think it's great. We all should have traditions and that just happens to be the souths tradition.

I had black-eyed peas and rice tonight for dinner, always do on New Years day. I am in MI, snowing like crazy here tonight. Off work tomorrow, so I don't care.

Happy New Year,
Roz

LOL, Rozzie!! We had rice as well..I guess that is prolly the New Orleans lean to it!! :D
Snowing here also, a bit,,I bet you folks are sick of it already..Wish we could get enough
(like we used to) for our ski areas, but I know we won't. Stay warm and enjoy that extra day,
I am going to have a short day tomorrow and be back with 'Yall tomorrow night.
Many blessings for you & yours in 2008!! :)
