Feel free to go into my account......there are 16 pages of listings........I had went into edit because I noticed that some of the listings had small font. Upon closer inspection on listings....I have found that ALOT of auctions now need to be edited due to the size of my items changing from inches to feet.
About 98% of all my auctions were copy and paste from the supplier information. Now, they were in inches when I originally listed them. Remember what I said about importing all my auctions over to WAM to edit for April? I did not edit descriptions, but somehow during either the import to WAM or the upload back to the site after the "big crash" that info got changed. So I have been going in and editing each seperate listing all night.
The first 5 pages of the 16 are correct, done in WAM and uploaded to the site in the last couple of days.......but get past page 7 and you will see what I mean.....EVERY item description size is now in feet instead of inches. Imagine a desktop table fountain 8' tall:eek:
Or a bird house that was about 12' tall......I really don't want that bird flyin in the direction of my house :D
The funniest one I thought, (actually there is 4 of them) a belt buckle that is 3' x 2'......I will leave that one alone !!!!!
Just found this really interesting as I copy and paste and save my fingers from doin all the typing.
Yall might want to go in and take a peek at random auctions, especially if you list a size.
Just edited this one.......but nothing says "welcome to my home", like a 27 1/2' frog welcome sign LOL

I am not aware of any issues in WAM that would cause these changes, but I can look into this. Were these auctions the same ones that we restored after the March meltdown?

No, these were all the auctions that I had imported to WAM mid March to edit for the April Promo...the only things I edited were shipping details and price. Never touched the descriptions.
When the site "crashed" and you restored the auctions I had left, I simply deleted everything (cleaned out my store) and then uploaded all from WAM. Got my store base back up and then started creating and uploading new listings from WAM. All of the new ones created and uploaded after the first were correct in the descriptions......only the ones that I had saved to upload on the 31st I had to go into each listing and edit the size. Lead me to believe that it was a "glitch" when in mid March I imported my listings over to WAM.
All is well now as everything has been edited and running with the proper information. Just found it funny that ALL of them had been set to feet instead of the original inches for size of the item.

Kat,

Something does sound goofy. I will have to look into this further.

BTW.......downloaded v2.05 with no problems (much faster than 1.48), imported all current (319) running listings over....previewed a couple of descriptions and they are correct. Maybe the problem (descriptions changed) was an effect with the issues(meltdown) at the time I imported them in mid March.

Kat,

Prior to the site issues, I do not see why this type of issue would have been caused. I could possibly see something like this if you updated inventory after our restore though. At any time did you back up your local auctions, then restore from this back up? Were these affected auctions from a csv import?

Nope, When I imported everything over to WAM in mid March, I left everything sitting in inventory tab, then as I edited them I sent about 10 at a time to the waiting to upload tab, then just continued on. There were approx. 200 listings at that time.
On the 31st when the site was up and running again...I uploaded 10-20 listings at a time. After I had everything uploaded to site again,Only when everything had been uploaded back to the site did I back up the listings, then deleted them from the inventory tab.
People have explained to me what a csv file is, but still to this day do not understand it. So it wasn't any kind of csv file.

Somewhere in the processes, something happened. I am stumped on what would cause this, but I will attempt to figure it out.

Whatever it was, it didn't do it when I got v2.05 downloaded and imported my listings (319) over to WAM. I random checked them in WAM before I backed them up and all seem to be fine.
Chauk it up to a glitch somewhere, no harm no foul as I was able to get everything edited on the site before any purchases were done.

I figured out what the issue is. The glitch is somewhere between your keyboard and your chair... :)

Just kidding Kat... In looking through our past bugs, I do see that there were some description bugs in previous versions. So I am thinking that these description bugs were also present in the importing of items.

John, Watch the news..........Oklahoma is now under water.....therefore the dust is under water, making it mud !!!!!
Half the country gravel roads have washed away !!!!! So there's not even gravel dust.
I have attached 55-gallon drums to the bottom of my house so that when it gets knocked off its foundation, and floats to the creek that is about 25 ft. from my house, I will have a pontoon boat!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Jt....I replied in hangman for you to do just that (import) didn't know it wasn't finding your sales (didn't see that part mentioned). I just tried it and it found the one that I still had sitting in my sales tab. So yep, this one would be for Admin.

It should import anything that has not been invoiced. So if you have invoiced on the site, then it will not import into the auction manager.

Ohhhh Okay. Thanks Admin. So I should Import the sales prior to invoicing so that it shows up in the manager. Once again thanks for your Help everyone:)

Yes. If you are going to start invoicing from the auction manager, we would recommend never invoicing from the site. Otherwise it could cause confusion for you. You will not be able to import any sales right now, as we need to post an update, so the software connects to the new server. We were hoping to have this update done by today, but it looks like it is most likely gonna happen tomorrow morning.

Thanks Admin. I will just use the paypal invoice rather than both. I figured that the Webidz Invoice was a way for Webidz to track the Sellers Progress and deal with Seller/Buyer issues if they come up.:)

Have a Great Evening and just want to say Holly Cow this new server is smokin.:D Good Job Gettin it up so quickly.
