I am trying to upload some listings, and am getting the message that "Server could not log you on, please check your user name and password". I have done that and even re-entered them in the preferences portion. Still no luck!! Wanted to do a major listing tonight of Christmas Clearance items.

Hope that someone can help me out.

Hey Roz..I had a similar incident myself when I first loaded the WAM, and Admin helped
me through it..I am pretty sure I know how to correct it, but I do not want to mess up or
confuse you..:oJust wanted you to know I am here and did see your post.
Let me get through to him with your message!!
Thanks!!

Roz,

What version are you running? This is usually associated with install not going correctly, many times this is caused by installing while files are still in the zip file. There were also some other issues, which were resolved in version 1.4.7. We have recently found that the auto update in versions 1.4.5 and 1.4.6 are not functioning correctly on some PC's, due to something associated with MS Access code? This has been resolved in the newer versions. If you have any of these two versions, you may need to do an uninstall and reinstall our newest version, if your software will not update.

If you have auctions in the auction manager program that you have yet to upload, you can use the "backup auctions" options from the file menu, to save your items before uninstall. Then after installing the new version, you can use the "restore auctions" option to import back into the program. This also saves all your profile info as well, as long as you leave that option checked when exporting.

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions, we will do our best to get you up and running as soon as possible.

Admin,

I am running the newest version, and have had great success with it. In fact I was using it when things went wacko. I was trying to post items for the Christmas Clearance, but was checking the shipping portion. It did not look right so deleted the auction, to start over. That is when I ran into problems.

Sorry for not giving you all this info the first time.

Admin,

Posted one item just now using WAM, and it worked. Must have been an operator error!!! Was very tired last night. Sorry. Will try to post quite a few items tonight.

Thanks for your help,

Roz,

If you delete an auction, it only deletes it from your local program and the auction still stays active on the site (if you already uploaded it). If it is a case of the auction already being live, we would recommend editing the auction, then re-uploading to apply the changes.

The could not connect issue could have also been a problem with your internet connection. If your connection breaks at any time while you are trying to perform uploads or downloads, you would receive such an error. I get that sometimes with my Outlook Express. I just wait a minute and it usually resolves.
