It is nice to have an alternative to the Giant, however does anything sell? Short of giving things away I have listed with free shipping and low prices to see if there are any bidders and in the last few days only 1 view of any of the items. What are the items that sell here?

Go on the home page and look on the right at Recently Sold!

Coins, may I also add that it helps a great deal to post the banner to your store
(every where possible) and especially HERE! :)

Hello coins_cards2008 I’ve been here 3 weeks now and still have no sales aim very patient person but be logical it will take time to get known in a new site.
For one it depends on what you sell I sell high end items and that is the main reason I do not expect any sales for awhile mainly due to the economy and
The fact that we are in a recession. Don’t get me wrong I hope for some sales but with this recession I cannot expect a family to not feed their child to
Purchase a TV or other item that is not a necessity. Give it time and a chance. I know it’s hard to get sales but this is a very good auction site due to the
Support and customer support that I found very good here. Sales will come just be patient

ps do what lanascountry recommeds and be active in these forums. This will help alot

I'm pretty impatient too. I've tried to sell a few things. A few people looked at them but didn't buy.

Guys we have been here for over 2 years now and it took a few months to sell our first! Now were selling something almost everyday! Ebay was the same way when they started too as we were there when they started! Patients!

This is my third month on this site. I have sold 4 items. Just this week, I sold 3 items. There was a buyer from France. But I have trouble getting paid for the 3 items I sold this week.

Great thread! I do have a question though, in regards to the home page where you can see what items have sold. Can you see all the times sold or just what is put up there? I would like to be able to see all items sold so I can determine if my items are interesting to people or not any way to do this? Nothing I clicked seems to allow me access.

Thanks

NANA! That's about all we can see! Below that is most viewed! One thing about auctions a seller doesn't know what the buyer wants! You could see something hasn't sold good for someone else so you deside not to list it! Bingo! There 2 or 3 new buyers come on the site the next day and are interested in something like that! So we just list everything we have and wish for the best!

No, I FULLY understand what you are saying just was hoping for MORE to see what has sold say in the last month or so. Even though as you say you post and hope for the best, there are certain trends that can be seen by watching the sold items. And that is what I was looking for more the trends in things than anything else.

Thanks for your post:)

Trends? We live in a day and age that is upside down. The trend is for gas to get higher and food prices to increase. Sorry did not mean to be negative but it sure seems this way for now. To answer your question from my point of view - it all depends on who is looking and what strikes their fancy. Sometimes I get lucky with rare things and other times with simple things. I sell vintage and a little new, but have had no luck at all lately with new. I also wish I knew what was the trend for now. Like you we want to sell our stuff that we call good junque. Have tried giving free shipping and even made one an offer of free item if they let me referr them to RME - turned out to be a deadbeat bidder - would not even take it for free with a $25.00 bonus in their pocket. Figure that one out. All in all this has been a good site, especially considering the cost involved. Try getting feebay to match this site. They do get more traffic but also more problems and cost. Thanks but no thanks! Someone probably has already told you but patience is the key to any site. Build your reputation and help Lana on the boards. I have not had time for much of that lately. Best of luck to you!

Yeah it seems the site is really growing, so lets all pull together and lists a lot of items and put out some links and get our friends and family to sign up. We can make it better.

I have noticed that sells seems to be coming up ---just keep looking at the recently sold box on the home page.
