I am trying to post an auction item for uploading but the Categories Tabs are not highlighted and when they drop down they are empty? How do I select a category for items? I cannot even save as a template without the caegory choice......Help

Did you download the Master File, there you will find the categories, countries, and other info needed to set your preferences. When Admin adds new categories, you will need to download the Master File again to get the newly added ones. You will find "Download Master File" under the "File" tab near the top.

As Roz has stated above, you would need to "download master data" from the tools menu, before creating auctions, importing, etc. Otherwise all your categories, payment options, currencies, etc., will be blank.
