How To Get WB Exchange Points

We have listed below the various methods members can earn points. These may be adjusted over time, as we get feedback from our members and better understand full utilization of this system.

Contests and Raffles: This will be the biggest method of gaining points, merchandise and/or cash. There may be topics and discussions about various contests, but we will most likely not be announcing each. So keep an eye on these by clicking "User CP" in the top menu bar, then selecting "Lotteries and Raffles" from the left menu.

Induction Credit: 10
(credits applied for new members)

Activity Credit: 5
Applied every seven days if the user qualifies as having been active during that period. Activity meanaing at least one post.

Birthday Credit: 50
Applied at midnight on the birthday of each user (birthday must be entered in user cp).

New Thread Credit: 2
Applied to the thread owner when their thread is started.

Your Thread Viewed Credit: 0.01
Applied to the thread owner when their thread is viewed. Does not count on the owner.

Your Thread Rated Credit: 0.10 - 0.50
Applied to the thread owner when their thread is rated, and does not count on the owner. The credit amount of 0.10 is multiplied times the rating (five stars being 5 x 0.10).

Posting Credit: 1
Applied for all valid posts.

Post Size Credit: 0.02 per word
Applied in addition to any posting credits, credit amount for every word (up to 50 words).

Your Profile Viewed Credit: 0.05
Applied to the profile owner when their profile is viewed. Does not count on the owners views.

Rate a Thread Credit: 0.25
Rate someone elses thread to receive this credit.

Poll Created Credit: 1

Poll Voted Credit: 0.5

Profile Picture Credit: 5
Applied when a profile picture is added.

Profile Fields Credit: 2
Applied when the user has at least three custom profile fields filled out. Like date of birth, interests, location, etc. This amount is multiplied against the number of profile fields filled in.

Infraction Credit: -10
Applied when user receives an infraction.

I just have to say I love the photos you guys have posted. The puppy looks alot like mine did before she grew into an adult psycho terrier. No that cow, while I can see the humor in it, and enjoyed looking at it, I am also glad I was not the one that had to retrieve the seat once the photo was taken.:eek:

We do not have anything in place that connects activity on the auction site to the community/points area... So this would have to be a manual process, which we do not currently have the availabale manhours to be able to perform. I agree that it would be an asset for buyers and sellers to both get points, we just don't have the resources right now.

From the Community page, click on User CP (this can be found near the top of the page - it is on the first dark blue band under the red band, on the left side of the page)

On the User Control Panel, look on the left side column under Control Panel and near the bottom is WeBex Points. Click on banking and Loans.

To pay for a WeBex auction when there is not a link in the item listing:

If the person is an active poster, you can click on their member name in one of their posts or...

From the community page, click Members List (on same blue bar as the User CP). Click on members name and then under Forum Info in their profile is the Give Points link.

To set up direct link for buyers to pay for a WeBex auction:

HOW TO PAY: No cash will be accepted for this auction, only WeBex Points. If you are the winning bidder, Click This Link (http://community.webidz.com/credits.php?do=manage&u=______#donate)to navigate to our points payment page. Enter the auction number into the comments section, enter the point value of your winning bid, then click the 'Give Points' button. When entering the point value, be sure not to include the decimal. If you are unsure of what your winning bid was, view the auctions winning bid section. This will show you the decimal value, as well as the conversion to points value. The points value is the amount you must submit when making payment.

These are usually spent on WeBex auctions, which can be found on the main auction site by clicking the WeBex Point Auctiond link in the left category navigation menu. We do not currently have any running, as our last batch of items were all bought up... but we will be adding more items fairly soon.
