Pictures!

Admin i edited a bunch of xboxes and other systems the other day and i seen last nite the pic's for them are not there on the site! So i have done the following 2 times now! Went to wam entered pic's in again and loaded to site and still no pic's! I'm using jpeg like all the rest

Admin I went on the site and put all the pic's in and they worked fine! Went to Wam and modified them same listings and uploaded them to the site and now all my Pic's are gone again on those items! Now i got to go back to each one and add pic's again!!!

Has your image directory on your computer changed? If you are using a backup from a previous version, the image directory may be different. If that is the case, you may want to copy/paste the images from your old install directory (say WAM 2.05), into the new install directory (webidz auction manager). If this is not the case, please let me know so I can look into this further.

They all say webidz BMP on the pic's in there! I did the pic's that dissaperred just the other day on your new version of wam and i backed them up with the new version! I even tried to put new pic's in JPEG just yesterday and when i loaded to the site they dissappered!

Can you give me an auction number of one of the auctions with a missing pic? That way I can chack the image path, as well as some other things.

I put pic's in them last nite 1 at a time! I put jeg in them but on wam they had webidz ones in them called BMP
Here is one but it has a pic in it now! If you go to my store it was all the xboxes,playstations,nintendo!

Here is the path on another auction in WAM that it goes by! This is not the item tho! Just showing you the name of path! I put jepeg in the others to replace this path and still nothing! I have all my items backed up in groups as we said before that i hit that 2000 mark and it really slows up! So we have like elec and cell in one folder saved then like furniture in another, airhead in another and one called everything else files! Let us know if you find something out as we don't dare edit in wam and down;oad it affraid of losing pic's!

JAMES! I just modified the price on the xm-150 in WAM and loaded them into the site and my pic's are gone there too!
I'll leave this one without a pic so you can see it! But i'll ut pic's in the rest!

Lana! It's the same way we do! Some comes with all the decribtion together without paragraphs! Those were down loaded from my store on my site by cvs

We have found the issue. Images are being uploaded during the process, but it is not entering the correct image url into the database. So uploading new auctions or editing auctions will basically remove the picture, as the image url is incorrect.

I have temporarily disabled the auction manager interface on our server, until we provide resolution for this. I don't want members to all of a sudden have thousands of auctions messed up. So everyones auction manager program will experience the dreaded "cannot connect" message until we re-enable. I have just sent this to our programmers, so hopefully we can have resolution fairly quick.

Lana i don't know it ether! On one of my store it has a Google feed download then i just save it in CVS with my open office program

We will let you know once this fix is provided. I was told that there will be a fix by today, but they are usually not very good at meeting deadlines they provide me.

All fixed mj. Just update your version from the tools menu, and you will be good to go. I would suggest after updating to edit one auction, then check it out. That way you are sure your update went well. There should not be any issues, as our update process is much better than it was in the past.

I just did the update then it came back on! Then i did the data and said not signed in again! So i went to preferance and signed in again and now it works fine!~
So you might want to add that re sign in again to your thread!
