Hi,

I would like to thank you guys for all the wonderful good jobs you have been doing. Do you guys think it is possible for a buyer to choose not to purchase a shipping insurance, even if this feature is enabled in the listings.

Shipping insurance should be optional to buyers. Buyer should have options to purchase shipping insurance or not. This is not the case, because buyer has no choice ones type a dollar amount in the insurance field .

Thanks. Keep the good work.

Joy, There are a couple of ways to get around this right now.

1. If you use WAM at all, you can invoice from WAM instead of invoicing from site. There you have the options to add or remove insurance.

2. You can state in the item description (instead of putting it in the insurance field) that insurance is optional/recommended, and state the insurance amount. Then when something sells, you can send a message through the message board on that particular item as to what totals will be and where to send payment (ie. mail/paypal addy/google) whatever your payment options are.

Hope this helps.
Have a great day and see ya in the forums.

Kat! Where and how do you invoice from WAM?
And on the site invoice you can leave the Ins blank if they do not want it!

Thanks for the help Kat. Yes, you would need to import sales from the sales tab. Then double click one of the items and you will be able to invoice. If there are multiple items purchased from a buyer, it will automatically display all items. You would then select which items you would like on the invoice, and wam will auto calculate everything. Then you can adjust as needed.
