WeBidz introduces their new community forum. This forum now automatically generates users as they register on the auction site, with the same username and password as used for initial auction site registration. Users registered on or before July 21st, 2007 had to be transferred into the community database, from the auction database. Due to password encryption on the auction database, we were not able to transfer passwords for these users. So temporary passwords were sent via email to all users. We recommend logging in to the forum, and changing to the same password used on the auction site (as this will be much easier to remember).

We encourage all members to use the forum, to interract with other WeBidz members and admin. This will be a very valuable tool to find answers to questions, help other members, promote your auctions, find specials or promos that sellers have running, investigate sellers before purchasing, etc.

We have a special section for sellers to develop their own FAQ/Feedback forum, which we highly recommend all sellers to participate in. Sellers simply start a thread (in the Seller FAQ Pages section), with their username as the title. Then buyers can ask pre & post sales questions to the seller in that thread. Buyers can also leave lengthy comments regarding transactions with this seller. Auction numbers must be included in feedback type posts, or they will be deleted with no warning. We will investigate malicious posts if requested by the seller. If we find posts are being made from another seller using an alias, their account will be suspended immediately. We recommend buyers to link to their FAQ/Feedback forum pages in all their auctions, and store pages (if applicable).

We feel having dedicated FAQ/Feedback forum pages will provide a valuable tool for buyers to investigate sellers before purchasing. By looking at feedback from buyers, how the seller responds to questions from buyers, how sellers deal with issues, etc. If a seller does not have a FAQ thread, it could be that they are not aware of this option, or possibly they have something to hide. Ask the seller to start a FAQ thread and see how they react.

We do not censor posts, unless it is simply spam or contains vulgar material. We will delete spam and vulgar content posts, which could also lead to account suspension for the forum and auction site both.

We hope you enjoy our new community section, and welcome any comments you may have.

Sincerely,
The WeBidz Staff
