Rozzie..I bet you and crew are putting up with a LOT of carp~~!!:(
At my store we are being harassed so much over groceries and commodities..
(things EVERYONE uses everyday..soap, tissue, Klennex..etc, etc..or you sure
HOPE they use it everyday). I see a lot of very young couples coming through (that
are NOT on any type assistance) with small children...counting out dollar bills
and small change..it is already heart-breaking..Can we get rid of the rich guys and
give this country back to the working class? Where is that uncle junk when I
need'em?:)
AND IMHO, we have NO ONE to vote for!

Lurking in the shadows - where do you think! Dirty old men like me have to hide once in a while. Careful when you say rich people. I am the richest guy in this whole area. I have a good wife, I am six - no 5' 10" above ground. We eat everyday even when we don't need to. The roof is not leaking and have not had a flat in several years. Thats rich to me! You mean greedy don't you? The truth is that greed has taken over. When you come right down to it we need to think of ways to starve out the greedy. No more oil than we absolutely have to have. Vote out anyone that does not truly represent us. Fire troublemakers when they show up in office. It can be done! We just have to come together and force the legal system to act. that is part of their job - impeachment - inforcement and removal. They have just simply not been forced to do it. If you ask what can be done about a bad sheriff you are told it is an elected office and you have to wait out the term and vote in someone new - not so! Go to your District Attorney/Solicitor, present your case and if it is refused you can go to the state level and then Federal if needed. It can be done. Clinton could have been removed when impeached if it had been pushed. He was smart enough to know it would not be. Bush could have been brought up on war crimes charges if the people got behind it. If you want it done you have to do it and not take no for an answer. The people can take back government if they try. We can force government to invest in alturnative fuels if we try. I don't mean corn. We can be running cars off water right now if the oil companies did not have Washington on the payrol. Quit talking and start doing.

Ok a chicken in every pot. At least that is food on the table. An immediate raise to $10.00 per hour min. wage. No more oil subsidies. Term limits starting with me. If I cannot get it done in two years you don't need me and should replace me. No more pac money. Reform the FDA, replace the IRS with a simple tax system. No more campain fund raising - replace with government funded limits provided by the government so that the playing field is level for poor and rich alike. We need the right people in office not the richest or more lawyers. Close the borders for 6 months or until it is actually fixed. Learn to understand the other religions so that we can better protect ourselves from extremist. If we cut off the oil flow to this country we will stop funding the troublemakers. Take those incentives now used for oil and corn and put it into making those hydroxy generators to burn water for fuel. Reform the medical system to cut cost and fix this problem with the insurance companies or go to a Federal System if they cannot or refuse to fix it. More than anything make sure we never go back to this career political system we now have. It was never meant to be this way. Serving in government was supposted to be a privilage not a vocation. This is only a starting point but needed to prevent a total revolt that I see coming.

Now if it was just that easy. Kathy you could be my running mate! Hillary does not seem to be getting there. Get me elected, knock me off and you will have your first lady Commander in Chief. Well its another avenue. :D Right now you and I would be a better choice than what is running. I am younger than McCain and you have more intestional fortitude than Hillary. We might get in on our looks, what do you think?

katandron1
05-24-2008, 09:28 AM
LOL I don't know about the looks part in my case..........
But the fact that we are the common working class, and know how everything is affecting us would just about cinch it up on its own.

Intestinal fortitude........daddy doesn't call me bulldog for nothin!!!!

Shhhh! don't say working class to loud. We have to get the greedy vote too. So its a hummer in every driveway until we get in and then turn the tables just like the crooks do.

katandron1
05-24-2008, 09:52 AM
Rick, thought we needed to change all the lies and empty promises that was now going on???? LOL

Why anyone would want to put something (Hummer) on the road that cost more than a house is beyond me.
Cherish the things that mean the most in life......Family, love, happiness, and God.
We will win on that concept.....besides Rick, remember, the working class is what keeps this country running. The big wigs wouldn't be big wigs without us. And there's way more of us than there are of them.

unclejunk1
05-24-2008, 10:23 AM
You see how quickly politics corrupts! When dealing with crooks you must out smart them. Have to agree with you on the Hummers. But you must admit that if you could run one off a tank of fuel for a month and the fuel be water - you just might change your mind. Think outside the box. Rethink government. Maintain your values Kathy but outsmart the greedy.

There is another problem that you have to keep in mind. The voting system in this country has been a problem from the beginning. The Electorial College was set up by the founding fathers but was based on the masses of the time. Common folk had little or no education, most could not read. That has changed to some degree but the Electorial College remains! It is one thing to be idealistic but reality sets in when real application starts. The power is still in the hands of people that it needs to be removed from. You must get into power to make changes and not allow yourself to be corrupted in the process. It has also been proven that the electronic voting machines are very easy to manipulate. One change of a memory card and one vote can appear as two or three. Word has it that it has already happened and it is also said that the owner of Debold has claimed he could deliver an election on demand.

The Democrate party in this area is already ready to dump Hillary in favor of Obama just so that it will not look like the decision was made in a smoke filled room if it gets to the super delegates. Reason, they don't want to lose the young vote that is backing Obama. Far too many things need to befixed like the Electorial College, Super Delegates, a Supreme Court that wants to make law instead of enforcing it. Professional politicians. What I said earlier was meant as a joke but really you must go in crooked just to get them out. Reality is that one person cannot do it anyway. You must clean up the Congress and Senate first. Get an honest group in with term limits that are real and you will see changes that even a bad president cannot overcome.

Rick, change my Avalanche (or even that little POS baretta that I've had for 7 years now and racked up over 200k miles on) over to water and Kat is happy.

Just shoot everyone in offices now, and start new tomorrow. Quickest way I can see to do it.

Kathy there are plans out there that you can buy now to convert but I don't think they are reliable or complete yet. We really need to divert money to this project to make it work for all vehicles, not just a gimic that may or may not work. I understand there are some guys that are doing it with salt water now. Salt water may be better because it a better conductor of electricity and electricity is needed to seperate hydrogen from oxygen in water to a vapor so it can burn. It is very possible and workable. Shoot the guys! Wooo, I am to old for prison. Lets just vote them out, if we can and if not find a way to bring them up on charges. We need to start right now we have capable people willing to serve and we need to vote for them. I just hope they don't turn into the same old same ol.

I talk to much about this stuff but on a more serious note this country needs the right kind of change and it will not come fast enough.

No Lana! I don't remember the guy or his name. There have been so many things bought out by the oil companies and other strange things happen through the years. Actually this technology goes back to the late 1800's. It is nothing new but never produced for automobiles that I know about. I may have told you about the guy that stopped the oil embargo of the 70's, lots of strange things have happened over the last 40 or 50 years. Fellow named Dave Edwards. He is probably close to 80 if still alive, have not seen him in over five years. No it is not the Dave Edwards in the Greenville area. This Dave was in the army with George Jones and wrote some of his songs. His life was threatened over what he found out.

Inventor Of Water Powered Car Murdered
This was an amazing video that was just released today on Google Video. This man Stan Meyer's built a car than runs entirely on water. The car gets 100 miles to the gallon, which is just astonishing. Well, what do you think happened to this earth changing inventor.... hmm the man was poisoned, and died in 1998. Later that week all of his equipment and the car that he created was stolen and never recovered.
Stan Meyer's had spoken repeatedly about how he was being threatened by oil companies, but refused to bow to their wishes of abandoning the project.

Lana you have been busy checking this out! I want to see the process perfected to the point we can put water in the tank and it actually seperates oxygen from hydrogen under the hood as a vapor to burn as fuel. safer to haul water than gasoline and totally polution free. No need to completely invent a new car or have gas stations or nitrogen stations across the country. Why should we be paying high food prices for these career Congressmen and Senators to stress ethnol instead of something much better. Another point is that space travel will depend on a fuel that is available on other planets. If there is water there - there is fuel. I have heard one argument that if there is stone you can make water and water becomes a fuel. Anyway contact your rep in Washington and let them know you know better and want it now. We need to quit being slaves to big companies.

"With Gas Costs Rising, Farmers Take to Mules"

Two Tennessee farmers have found an old-fashioned solution to the problem of high prices at the gas pump: They've hitched their farming equipment to two mules named Dolly and Molly. T.R. Raymond and his son Danny say it's a lot cheaper to fuel their mules than to fuel their tractors.

The Raymonds, who live in McMinnville, say they're not alone. "There's a lot of mule power around here," T.R. Raymond says. "When you get to where you can't afford the gas, you hook the mules up."

Their farm measures 40 acres, with 17 head of horses and about 20 cows.

To make the switch from gasoline to mule power, Danny Raymond had to teach the animals to pull the equipment. "It's time-consuming," he says. "They were a little nervous at first, but they adjusted real well."

Modern equipment doesn't translate automatically to older methods. The weights have to be shifted so that each animal pulls equally, for example. But the savings have been immediate. Gas in the area has been selling for $3.87 a gallon.

The mules don't ask nearly so much. "They just eat hay and a little sweet feed, a little shell corn," T.R. Raymond says. "You gotta rub around on them and talk to them, stay acquainted with them, where they know you."

With their return to mule power, the Raymonds figure they're saying at least $60 a day.
